Invitation
I received your invitation;
sorry I will not be there.
After loving you for so long,
it would be too much to bear.
As the invitation slips through my fingers,
I remember how your love slipped away,
so I am sending back you invitation,
the invitation for your wedding day.
I don’t think you will miss me,
as he will be holding you tight.
I will only bring back bad memories
and you wouldn’t want them tonight,
so I am sending back your invitation,
the invitation for your wedding day.
For my dearest darling
it is the only and best way.
