Too many times, we leave things until later
Sometimes later never comes and the moments are lost
We never get the chance to say the most important things
That is to say, I loved you and goodbye
Our lives are like a second in each day
Here for a brief moment and forever gone away
Any tears of sorrow we leak from our eyes
Are there because of our missed chances
Of saying, I loved you and goodbye
