Humanity
It’s easy to know
that you know not
but then learn,
As it is to
cipher reality
but then discern.
It’s as difficult to
keep an open mind
and not to think,
as it is to
open your eyes
and not to blink.
It’s important to be arrogant,
self-conceited and egocentric
yet keep your humility,
As it is to be immune to feeling
and impervious to pain
yet keep your humanity.
