As We Speak
as we speak
our tounges flap
around our cheeks
as we sing thinking relating
hoping someone out there
understands the words we keep singing
I've done this so long
decipher these words
and come up with my own song
sing things my way
let these words flow
through this pen on this
paper they lay
Words are so powerfull and deep
but nothing comes across the same
as we speak
