Wishing Upon A Star
Oh how we all wish upon a star...
So magical, yet real,
Will it come true?
Or is this all pretend?
So many people count on you,
Oh lucky shooting star don't you see this?
Can't you just once make people's only wish come true?
Is that even possible?
I sure hope so,
We can only wonder and wait,
For my only wish is for you to be mine,
Forever and always,
Tell death do us part.
Do you believe miracles?
I do...I think,
Like why not?
You got nothing else to lose...
But maybe that's the problem in this world,
Too many people count on miracles to happen, instead...
When really they could be doing something about it,
You see people always trying to take the easy way out of things,
Never want to work for things they want or need,
Like the saying goes...
Follow your dreams,
Only YOU can make them real,
Who knows,
Who will ever know...
But the thing I do believe is,
Time will tell my friend,
Hang in there...
Try your hardest, until you can't no more,
And you'll surely get rewarded with the very best
