Void
Silence shuddered in night's deceptive arms
Memories rose and fell to insane rhythms
There was bliss that smiled for a fleeting lifetime
Which morphed to a viper's coil spewing rage
At neglect of an absent lover's selfish memory
Obsessive yearning threaded through insomniac nights
Patterned in the ebb and rush of latent desires
Needs to be met from hasty promises
Hollowed to fruition at lust's virulent grip
Trysts in creation pulsing their pagan cycles
Scents of life, of a most guarded saga...
