Staying Trapped
It hurts
I know it does
But you can't change
The horrendous
Things that happened
All you can do
Is live and deal
With the things and
Decisions made
And try to make
The very best of
What is left
Wishing it was
You will not help anyone
Least of all you
Living in the past
Staying trapped in
Grief
Will slowly bring you
Down so that it is
All you become
