I watch you walk away from me
and you never even see
all the tears I cry
all the times I lie
you're supposed to be there
but you're not, and it's not fair!
you've never said it's over between us
but I don't know if I can trust
that I can keep you here with me
I mean, seriously!
you're wanted by so many
you're like a shiny new penny
and I don't know if I could take it
if you're just faking it
you've never seen me cry
but you've heard me lie
I want us to be close
but how, I don't know
you walk away from me
and you never even see
all the pain inside me
