Honesty
Has no
Place -
In this
World.
When I was
Honest -
With you,
And told you
How much I
Loved you…
You said -
Never to write
Such thoughts
To the one
You love,
But to write
Someplace
Else, for instance,
In a diary.
Now,
I express
My feelings
To the world
And ironically,
You come
Searching
My poems…
Just to see if I
Still love you.
Don't know
Why a man
Takes for
Granted -
The woman
Who loves him.
When he loses her
To the world…
He hopes, she'll
Come back to him.
But times gone by
Never come back,
My friend.
