Have you noticed
That some poems
Are like touch
And go…
They just flow…
Some others
Are like babies
Throwing
Tantrums…
You keep going
Back to them…
They keep
Pestering you
With their
"Correct Me"
Cries…
You keep
Tweaking them
Here and there…
And everywhere
Till you finally
Get them right!
Exhausted
And drained
You pledge
Not to ever
Return to them.
But how can you
Not?
They are your
Attention-seeking
Babies…
So you cannot
Ignore them.
Hence, often you
Check back to see
If those ‘babyish'
Poems read and
Feel right :)
