Quiet beauty
as she walks past me
peace and quiet
in the nestling heart
days are roses
fragrant all around me
nights like satin
smoothing with their lights
raindrops calling
sweetly on the window
their song is heard
many miles apart
my soul's longing
caged in all its sorrow
whispering freely
