Quotes about oceanic, page 6

Disorder.

Thousands of years I roam around these regions,
Where I no more find my darling pigeons,
I stand here at half past three at night,
Behind me is the esplanade empty in delight,
Gone are the human to have their rest,
Come back to disturb me again at eight,
I am the soul of this oceanic earth, under hallucination,
Dumped are those wastes on my plantation,
Gardens of corals gone forever, on the sea bed,
Companions of fauna seldom visit to feed,
Human dump their waste as if I am their bin,
Barges and boats threaten us, who are in,
Not enough having our own hot and fast currents,
Ignorant human test their weapons in forefront,
Thousands of species sick, unhealthy and mutated,
As far as unseen, nothing happens to these half baked,
Scientists and politicians of the new world,
I am the soul of the oceans, chased into the deep water,
Once in a while I, too visit the shore of soil not to trigger,
The tsunami or hardship to the children of my breast,

Never Too Distant

Basking the dithering umbra
of an endless, moonless
void oceanic night
where the clockwork caught tremors
with terse ebb and flow
before it defiantly sojourns
in a vertical line ensconced
in the abysmal marrows of depth,
I became the caper, and the ruse
is the stillness of the vesper

I undulated through
the most convoluted slopes
never too distant from
the diamond-tethers
riveting me in the manifold
phases of this empty night

Because in this cobwebbed room
your shadows remained prancing

Sorrow Under Mist

Mist -

Giving wispy vapour to the breath,
Cool calm to autumn afternoons,
A hovering air of mysticism
Over brooding lakes -

Was different here,
Affording company, closeness -
A caring arm around her shoulders.

In the eyes, a once-clear oceanic blue
Wavered under water -
Tears telling torrid truths
She couldn't face -
Like the glowering image in the mirror
You don't see in your mind's eye
Of compensation; delusion.

We see her sitting on the concrete steps

Bag Pipes

A ship-yard celebration is to accede
no sailor from a new boat will abscond
to abrogate drinks, of a wishing deed
Oceans to challenge and far beyond.

And there the bag-pipe players cond
on ethnic island tunes, and aural modes
as Nautilus dance and gals respond
like oceanic waves to acclaimed nodes.

The adage of players' hypnotic tunes
invite every young to a dance agog,
men forms with girls to smile, as balloons
fly colorfully, with every toast of grog.

The gals smile to the well chosen male,
in this feast of agon to renew a toll
of ocean routes against storms and gales,
just to return to moors and their call.

698. Make me a drunkard! 041009

They say, ‘be happy and be away from people unhappy’
But how can I pretend to be happy when I am not happy?
I wonder how joy will spring from my heart
When I have not realized truth but in dark?

To be joyful and to give joy, they say
Love is the only means; but to my dismay
I have not tasted true Love in this world
To my eyes all relations are mere trade!

Cinderella’s misery was no more as she met
The prince with true love and a heart wet
She jerked away all her relations false
To unite the prince in a private place

I know my dearest beloved! You are within!
I shut all the doors made up of my thick skin
The five senses and the brain store of thoughts
To make my heart a lovely bed for sweet nights!

Madras

The ambience of the oceanic swells
The azure of the sky drowned therein
The sandy shore with ozonic breeze
The uncluttered stretch up the last eyeline

Eaten the sun-feast beatan by night gleam
Starry twinkling winking at statues' conspiracy
Over the panorama the illuminated beam
The light-house sea-marking with accuracy

There, her majesty queen Mary
With her radio recreations
Literates of Presidency and University
Smiling Mahathma musically on fridays

Spinning around many a pantheon
Of heritage and history
Names of many a medallion
In library of a century

Upon Remembering A Burgess Garden Holiday

Jagged Polar Crests Oceanic stone towers
Eidolon of Ishtar incarnate perched overhead
atrous shadow urubus nest loom
the slain ensanguined fascist of doom!

Glittering vespertine hours
Sky ablaze! O Glory!
Scarred charred bomb beaten earth
soothed by fresh falling blanket of Alpine snow!

Imagination running wild through the
courtyard playground
Playing soldier flanked by the Austrian Alps
Hollywood back-dropp snowy panoramic vistas
The Grand facade of the old hotel!
Barracks of ambitious schizophrenic design
world world two commune
housing soldiers of the damned madman

Hear the whispers of redrum

Spectrogram Of A Pictorial Poem

The walls have come out of doors
Narrows are the passages, many are the footprints
On the steep rock where the sun lies half reclined
Jumping over one's shadow, falling headlong
Is the ultimate truth, nothing new about it
Dreaming some old dream
Eyes know not how much water has come out
Of their oceanic depths.
It is easy to cross a river
but how difficult it is to find a foothold on its banks.
Passing through the vicinity of human settlements
the pathways of history meander through
Fields, meadows, and vineyards and disappear
in the rise and fall of women.
Before the new crops come in
Weather keeps on changing.
Profound thoughts are for the Elect
and death for all!
Failure to compose a poem
is not the tragedy of the poet

I'm not looking my Someday best

I'm not looking my Someday best
The heart's smoked out abusively
And busted on the porn romance syndrome
And what with capricious bad verve
And morbid ecological anxiety
And sustained economic diarrhea
And acute political devaluation
And convulsive religious paroxysms
And blighted philosophical musings by morons
And the steady diet of mass media feeding frenzy
With everyone overlied and brain crisp¸
Not to mention the increased virtual dyslexia
Nor the arachnoid addiction to fail
Nor the ¢ash filled Gagaian cultural wasteland
Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby ad nauseaum
And after the flood there comes dead aid

Of course I'm grumpy
Nothing is on time
Tic-toc suck my profanity

Valliyur

Providential wish!
Daughters of Thirumal, to the eye-born sisters
Amirthavalli and Sundaravalli
Preached Lord Muruga Shatakshara mantra
Offered in return the sisters gratefully
Both themselves to marry Muruga
But ordered them Muruga to be born anew
Then to conjoin Him
Deivanai and Valli hence their incarnate next

Providential command!
Demon Padmasura to be slain
Amid the oceanic silence of Tiruchendur
Prior slain brother Taraka the hill-demon Krauncha
Gifted, much cheered Devendra
Daughter Deivanai to valorous Muruga
Seated the couple encaved at Tiruparankundram
Tri-pieced Taraka, slain head hurled off
Mahendragiri hill defending it
Taraka's head transformed into a rock- cave
