Medically Numbed

Where is the proof,
That there is a declining quality of life.
Where is the proof,
That minds have been affected...
By a relying on chemical diets.
And where is the proof...
Those depicted to be out of their minds,
Reflect a more accepted time...
Few have been too medically numbed to notice.
Or drugged to promote quick corner purchases.

'Pssst...
Yeah,
You.
How about getting that monkey off your back.
I've got a remedy for that.'

~That's MY SON,
Crack head.~

The house from the mountain

Foot of region has grown up by the house
it’s the mountain that watches with strength the house
a summit with fir trees waits for dreaminess
from the happy house penetrates light.

Shiver of springs flows near the house
secret wave guides me to the door
that opens silently to my mirthful steps
the cowered hope stretches sleepily in bed.

Numbed in the morning second
I get drowned in drops of light
a high rumble, that increases lonely
gathers me in its breast, as the world that lies.

Somehow This Is Praised

It doesn't matter where they go.
They will still show they can degrade themselves.
That is the only identity they know.
And those who protect them with excuses...
Have not a clue they've become numbed to the abuse.

It doesn't matter where they go.
They will loudly expose their ignorance.
With no common sense to use as a defense.
And everyone who came to assist them in the past...
Were backstabbed and lied upon.
Since the doers of these deeds had minds long trashed.

Worthless they are!
And somehow this is praised.

Emotional Subjection

There is no tyrant quite like feeling.
A bondage that cannot be released.
All we do will forever succumb to it.
Your suffering means that you're human.

Your mind is a warfield.
And your heart is the opposition.
No solution can truly be found.
Forever at war with yourself.

You will obey.
You will cry for it.
You will fall to your knees for it.
You will be numbed by it.
You will be reminded of it.
It cannot be neglected much longer.

Slavery is freedom.
Slavery is freedom.
Slavery is freedom.

In The Beginning

Ever since those wondrous days of Creation
our Lord God sleeps: we are His sleep.
And He accepted this in His indulgence,
resigned to rest among the distant stars.

Our actions stopped Him from reacting,
for His fist-tight hand is numbed by sleep,
and the times brought in the age of heroes
during which our dark hearts plundered Him.

Sometimes He appears as if tormented,
and His body jerks as if plagued by pain;
but these spells are always outweighed by the
number of His countless other worlds.

Prisoner Of Myself!

for too long
i was a prisoner...
a prisoner of myself!
held captive by desires
that numbed my longing..
settling for second hand shoes,
and paths already forged..
convinced i was sacrificing
my spirit for my heart.

that wont fly anymore.
i'm too damned old to pretend,
even to myself.
though the man in the mirror
often disappoints me,
he is what he is!

this body beat down and worn,
this spirit demands its freedom.
love was never a light

Fear

Fear causes paralysis
Emotions are all numbed
Thoughts go may blank
As one becomes deaf and dumb.

Fear closes our eyes
To glaring truth that stares
Accepting all the lies
In silence, without care.

Fear locks our doors
To the beauty of life and choices
We lose sight of what we live for
Surrendered to muted voices.

Fear is a daily death
Like walls in a coffin sealed
An existence in useless breath
A vessel that can never be filled.

How To Train A Snake

How To Train A Snake
Date: August 22,2012

Teach me not to suffer, dear
To rise up from the fall
Teach me to feel the sunshine
And to understand the call

Teach my heart, to be as stone
Numbed against the sting
Teach me how to shed my skin
And never feel a thing

Teach me how to carry on
To close the open doors
Teach me to darken every page
And never yearn for more

Teach me all, you know so well
To search for prey, as you

Monoliths

While I'm constructing monoliths of tongue and spit,
I try to dissolve my thoughts to reach my spirit.
I scalpel my chest open as each letter draws—
My peritoreum cradled in Grendel's claws.
In four directions, my spilling Word slowly sprawls
Like the Bacabs, holding the sky until it falls.
I want to acknowledge the inherited shape
I've long-forgotten behind my mind's window drape.
I want to release the numbed, tingling soul inside
That waxes forth as if it were a moon-lit tide.
I want to divulse the worlds of integument,
And rebuild— from entropy— my sight's monument.

Limbo

I thought I would live forever, like Newton or Shakespeare-
Until you were gone I realized you were my life’s elixir,
I tore your heart to pieces yet it is mine that is torn-
Numbed, suffocated, mutilated, annihilated-
The petals to my heart do not bloom anymore,
I turn back the hands of time on my watch-
Earth did not turn back for me,
All women turn right when I turn left,
Whatever they see cannot be less than the truth,
No one believes I have changed-I cried love too many times,
I am between history and forgotten, dust and ash-
I am dead-not officially; death is taking too long to pick me up.
