Quotes about tweet, page 3

Wit

it is the wit
that makes the tweet

it is not the phrasing
or the singing

it is the wit
that makes the lit

it is the rhyme
that is prime

it is the wish
that does not piss

i keep this bliss
without a miss.

The left and the right live in parallel universes. The right listens to talk radio, the left's on the Internet and they just reinforce one another. They have no sense of reality. I have now one ambition: to retire before it becomes essential to tweet.

Tweety Birds

Two tweety birds,
Hangout on a branch.
Two tweety birds,
Waiting for their lunch.

Their time is spent
Tweeting, preening in a bunch.
A ritual, a noise event.
Birds gather not in a 'bunch',

They stay together in a 'flock'.
I wrote 'bunch'
to rhyme with lunch.
So there, you have it in a block!

Birds of a feather flock together,
Sing melodious tunes
Birds of a feather in any weather,
Tweet in timely tunes.

Molten Anger

And, it tore through dumb claim;
the fakes had commingled with
the truth. Nowhere my soul
found peace.

One by one shadows were losing
their skeletons. The tarnished face
was forced to recant its nose
and shrank into hole.

Blood grievously turned grey
and skin tanned blue in fierce withdrawl.

He tracked naked in squall
of abuse leaving the eyes for blind rubbers
and bald wolves.Legs tweet, the child
is coming back home.

Benevolent

Mother nature
provides in abundance
for her children to feed
unabashedly they perform C-sections
to satiate their greed.

And she gets killed every day, every minute
like a golden goose
her sons and daughters make merry
forgetting they are tightening themselves
their own noose.

Yet being a mother, she does not tweet
reserving them a berth
for ancestors to meet
and offers her body for carving out
a place measuring, six by two feet.

A Day In My Life

A day in my life
I wish you could see
Just what it's like
To be plain me.

A little bit picky
A stickler for what's right
When the giong is tough
I read poetry all night.

When yesterdays anger
Storms into my way
I raid my silent mind
And hope for a better day.

When evening draws near
Sadness cascades down my face
It's you that I turn to
With a smile to replace.

Twitter!

I am a bird with no feather,
Still I can fly with no fear,
Up in the sky and through the river,
The Eternal bliss that found in neither,
Flutter in the hearts, chirp in the mind,
Nestling of super ideas that evolve,
I go in group to target the caves,
Where the darkness pitifully rules,
Escape from the annoyance,
Just walk on the peaceful grass,
Sometimes green, otherwise clueless,
Pecking the juicy fruits and breaking the nuts,
I am a bird with no feathers, but a tweet.

Prisoner Of The Dark

There is always a call, from outside a call
Yet I stay rooted in a dark theater hall
There is an outside where the sky gets paint
The birds busily tweet for my ears to be lent
The sunrays stretch their hands for me to come along
The winds want me listen to a long forgotten song
I want to run out there, to see and smell it full
As the rain comes from heaven for the parched earth to be cool
Once I soak in them, feel them inside me
The moon coming out of clouds sets my spirit free
The call is loud and clear, it is all over me
In a dark theater hall, I only dream to be free!
