Quotes about swipe, page 3
Going In
The tiger's tail was piping hot
All the live-long day...
And that one tail was all he'd got
To swipe the flies away!
Its twists and turns were quite enough
To signal it was time
To find that place when things got tough...
The stream was so sublime...
So off he went in search of peace,
His own sweet Shangri-La...
Where all his tensions found release
As if it were a spa...
When going in, the soft mud feels
So squelchy there below...
Yet somehow that sensation heals,
As mud slips to and fro...
Now halfway in, with all legs wet,
He stands still there and then...
He loses every frown and fret
And he's refreshed again.

Frozen Bullet Eyes
You shot me with those frozen bullet eyes
which at first ice-berged the center of my soul
but I didn't die.
can't be killed by a dead man.
The swipe of that ice crystal hand
was dismissively lodged
in my breathing space
and I cried;
but real tears don't fall for the already deceased
feeling wise.
I stood full on
in Massive Regret

A Cut Above The Rest
My great-grandfather was a soldier
and Rebecca was his loving wife.
They were wed in what was then India
and she was accustomed to army life.
They lived in an Indian army bungalow
on the outskirts of the city of Lahore.
Whilst the Major was away on duty
a guard kept their home secure.
One evening as the sun was setting
an open window let in the breeze.
The manservant lit the oil lamps
then retired to the bungalow’s eaves.
As Rebecca sat quietly reading
the sound of a thud came from outside.
From the wall she took her father’s sword
and stood behind the curtain as if to hide.

Janette and You and the Slapped Face.
Janette Richie
didn't like you much
as was shown
that time
in Mr Finn's class
when she slapped
your face
for something you'd said
leaving you
with a spinning head
and a red cheek
but that aside
and her rather
plump frame
and maybe spectacles

The Sin
I found him looking into my eyes
I blushed & smiled
But no romance can ever fall upon
I married the best man
I found myself falling for him
No he isnt my husband
He is the dark stranger
who came right out of my dreams
I stayed away from trouble
Stayed away from him..
It shouldn't hurt me but it did
Whereever I went My Heart
My Broken heart sought for him
Longed to love
To be loved
It wasn't long before - I

The French Maid
She is cleaning again
feather duster in hand
Uniform tuxedo
fanning flourish feminine
She wears fishnets black
lacing satin spic 'n span
Skirting sleek stilettos
with delicate depurate diadem
She dusts lust for fuchsian
florid fine and flourishin’
Disinfecting drains unclogging
impeccable spotless sanitary she
We clean the floors doors walls
with window crevices uncovering
Reach revealing mirror ceiling
pristine sheen for floor board squeaking

On driving westward toward Versailles
I
wet cat impaled on telegraph poles
serrated ashbrown fur
tinged with flinting silver
a mirror blue
cut by guitar strings on a shining plate
bathed in molten evening shine
jet streaks through pylon barrage
windshield wipers' hemicircular swipe
dry cat's crusty baguette fur
ashen edges of rapidfire cirrus
pylons stalk the sky
and catch the wipers in the eye

OCD Morning
Wake up to the alarm
Reset it a second, third, and fourth time
It will fail tomorrow unless you remember to do this
Step into the shower
Squeeze out twice the shampoo you need
Or your hair will be limp and slick with oil by noon
Dry yourself
Keep the towel away from the small puddles
Do you know just what touched this floor before you?
Eat a healthy breakfast
Pour the entire pot of coffee down the drain
You didn’t achieve the perfect ratio of grounds to water
Get dressed
Purple, blue, purple, blue... definitely purple
The color could determine the entire course of your day

Back-to-School Shopping
The calendar is changing its expression
Summer days are getting shorter and cooling
The months are flipping over in succession...
Time to prepare for September schooling
Boys and girls are eager to purchase
new duds for a brand-new school year
Can't forget a new lunchbox and thermos
New shoes will surely shift motion into gear
Starting at mid-day…eager and carefree
beginning to look for a proper fit
Can't figure out why same sizes vary
Try everything on before deciding on it
From each fashion display we forge forward
Feet are dragging…patience is running thin
Children are misbehaving…a bribe is offered
Improve and get a treat that'll make you grin

Tears In Such A Way
No use in crying or shedding tears in such a way
Jesus is never far and stays away
He is always near to or in fact in your heart
Guides you each step and remains as inseparable part
Everything is destined to be happy moment
There is no scope to curse or resent
Why tears should find place in eyes?
Life should be trouble with many question of why’s?
You are able and very much capable
Leave your ship in his hand and forget about troubles
What is loss and gain when he has squared fairly?
His gesture with smile is always with you nearly
Let tears fill your eyes and heart
Feel the pain of what he had undergone at start
He bore all the pain to self and worked for us
We shall have faith and unbreakable trust
