I come from the land of locusts.
Periodically, on rare occasions,
back when there was no concern
over climate changes

and the Sirocco blew over Casablanca
the skies turned somberly gloomy.
The feast after their landing was pan-fried.
Locusts with cumin spices. Cruncheeeeee!

In fact there is compensation
Nature has a way to substitute a simile
For an allegory or the real thing.
We just have to learn to swallow it.

OK, you wait for an intelligent comment
& the one thing I remark
about the locust aftermath is that there's
no corn in sight any longer.

Enigma

The noblest name in Allegory's page,
The hand that traced inexorable rage;
A pleasing moralist whose page refined,
Displays the deepest knowledge of the mind;
A tender poet of a foreign tongue,
(Indited in the language that he sung.)
A bard of brilliant but unlicensed page
At once the shame and glory of our age,
The prince of harmony and stirling sense,
The ancient dramatist of eminence,
The bard that paints imagination's powers,
And him whose song revives departed hours,
Once more an ancient tragic bard recall,
In boldness of design surpassing all.
These names when rightly read, a name [make] known
Which gathers all their glories in its own.

Cast out the bondwoman and her son,
For her son will never ne the heir!
But whatever a man sows, so shall he reap.

Empty pride,
The new creation will prevail!
And like an allegory to satisfy your muse.

To be blameless and harmless in this life,
Check out the rainbow colours and learn from them;
And let your waist be belted with the truth always.

Let your conduct be worthy of the message,
And try to overcome empty glory!
For all that you do should be done in love.

The Great Nativity

Go sound the trumpet of victory,
and tell the tale of man's allegory.
The world of men has been given a unique gift,
that will change the face of humanity aloft.
Unto us a precious child is born,
that will amend all lives that has been torn.
Unto us men a treasure is given,
that will bring 2 us all the peace of heaven.
He is the enternal begotten son of GOD the father,
and the divine human redeemer.
He is the x-ray of God's judicious judgement,
that relieves us from our earthly pains like liniment.
He's birth has brought joy to the world of men,
and forgiveness of God to bad omen.
He is the prince of God's peace,
and lord of all human race.
He is the gift of God's immunity,
to the sins of the world of humanity

Philosophy 101

I could write a clever allegory
All decked out in a shining
Red Banner
Of moral principles
And superimpose it
Across the turquoise sky
But my lanes of life
Are more standard procedure now
From the just getting through
Yet another day
To holding close
Those dearest and most precious
I used to run in faster circles
Someitmes chasing my own tail
Only to dind myself
Back to square one
Looking now for the silver lining
In the clouds
I often peak behind the sun

Justitia Versus Justice

Justitia's dark pose is a golden allegory
Justice's present pose depicts dark imagery
Unifies reason, justice, objectivity and balance
Upgrades putridness, injustice, subjectivity and imbalance
Sanctions responsibility, power, growth and wisdom
Salutes payoff, baron, egotism and kingdom
Touches equalitarianism, objectivism and platonism
Teaches prejudgement, escapism and abstractionism
Imbibes ethics, positivism and lowliness
Inspires iniquity, negativism and pridefulness
Targets perfection, truth and universal friendship
Creates imperfection, falsity and eternal enemity
Incites every soul to be a similar role model
Encourages every soul to master this trade.
And endlessly poses in every society to allegorise it.

Happy Birthday

what an historic day for all to remember,
It's the 3rd day in the blessed month of december.
A day that marks the birthday of a great friend,
A special person that brings fun without end.
Rejoice for heaven has smiled on you,
With a rare gift of life available to few.
He has open his tap of blessing,
Just for you to keep on smiling.
Today is your day and i wish you all the best,
I hope you celebrate it with a lot of zest.
For today you are a year older,
Store away your many wishes until you feel bolder.
So let the drums roll and horns toot,
Now make a wish for a lot of loot.
For the world await your success story,
And to narrate the tale of your allegory.

Obstructive red wine spill

Upon this faraway of a Sunday's Shine
we left our apostasy on the altar's line,
a small perfection of old adoration still,
a memory's obstructive red wine spill.

Beacon ghost flashes of dusk will enjoin
an offer of surmises, a tossed-up coin,
images we have left, airy ghostly twine,
for a second principle, you were mine..

I shall depart far oceans of our Holiday,
cast of remembrances never dismay,
my adorned garland time will surpass,
my image and your kind remembrance.

Beguiled will be Charon's aimless gain,
dimensions' adoration of worlds vain,
esteem a honeycomb sweet beehive,
never end this dream's allegory strive.

Cope With It

Some ideas are beautiful
like lions being noble kings
but seeing the lion feed with
bloodied mouth and flies a-
round his head, is horrible

The idea of nature being in
synch, an animal only taking
what it needs to eat - sounds
perfect - but seeing a buffalo
mom abandoning her calf

To stay safe with the herd is
heartbreaking - idea is good
