outside it is wet.
inside is acrid.
at the inner side of things
deserts make more deserts
sands slip beneath our feet,
outside the rain sings
lots of denials,
hands imploring for more
acceptance
arms looking for an embrace
and the universe
spins some more
the threads of its messy
indifference.

Proven Not To Be Beneficial

It has already proven not to be,
Beneficial or cost effective...
To have issued lifetime memberships,
Or seasonal tickets...
To those of the population selected,
For purposes to keep them addicted...
And protected by entertaining amusements,
Numbing effectively a thought process...
That has kept denials prioritized over truths.

The rotten fruits

Such a tempting fruit as she is,
With such an adamancy as hers,
She makes my lust of her fall sick
And leaves me, who move to rotten fruits.

Ho! By such acts that she conducts,
What happiness would she derive?
By such denials does she get
Her corporal urges met with?

The rotten fruits overwhelm the eaten ones.

Tongue of the Creator

everyday we push, slice, chop
a knife ego sharp tearing out love
spilling from a cosmic mouth perennially
whispering to us, taking us over a fountain
of denials and wants, a thorn between good and evil
we hold onto for guidance, slipping at times
a tongue wears heavy on the heart, but grow wings to
lift us into bliss when we take to the lesson it dispenses

Praised For Outrageous Behavior

Loud like their mamas.
Irresponsible like their papas.
Protected all,
By excuses made.
Surrounded by walls,
Of those denials laid!

Disrespectful and indignant.
Ignorant and insolent.
Yet wishing with a dismissal of this,
To be praised for outrageous behavior.

Their lives have been lived,
Without social investments.
Or an upgrade of lowlife mindsets!

Discreeted Deceit Defeats You

Your shame now shows a blemish.
You would like to diminish,
The exposure of it all.
But pretensions have dressed
An unconfessed illness manifested!
A cure has been found...
To surround with a painful healing.
Discreeted deceit defeats you!
And the leeches that have chosen to keep
Denials as a weapon to defend weaknesses...
Are shown to have fed their needs on division!

Our Party

Our party passed off very well,
The matter-of-fact speech was ceaseless;
Being attentive to fingers robbed us,
Silent and special and elegant as ever
Was the brilliance of the gathering.

Cheerful and chatty were the jokes,
Polite entertainment resided in our organs,
Music outdid music of laughter,
Like denials and denigrations,
Quiet manners rarely sprang up in unison.

Out of Breath

Too little.
Too late.
Comes too often.
Too soon...
For the nonbelievers!
With too much room,
Found left empty...
Of anyone concerned,
Who comes to make an offer to listen...
With a faithful excuse used!
And...
With time to spare.
For an expected reception.
But...
The quality of fresh air,
Once there...
Has smogged.
To leave too many choking,
On whims prioritized!
And bearing denials still left unaddressed.

Fractured Time

He would set them free,
words. On cityscape.
For extended release of connotations.
Part of him, not his way,
and become weaponless.

Once the silence descended,
nothing was left to be known.
Between doubt and belief
anguish was palpable.
Truth was a capped fossil.

The rumors and denials
were similar. Fractured time.
From lie to lie watercolor ticks the clock,
fells the tribe of seekers
and breaks the mirror.
