A Decade

A decade has passed from us,
When there is heartache
And animals give us haste
On their memory,
As for their memory.
Destiny has contained us with themselves,
Unfurl that and we are in heavenly heights so mighty.

Another decade will pass,
With each other,
And why do we see this tragic past
When future callings are among us.
The time for peace and war has erupted
To contain us in our memorisation
And our concentration.

Earth Is Our Container

Steaming containers cause melting of the body,
You are inside a sphere I call Earth.
The planet averts its eyes from folly of Space,
Where past centuries have enlightened us,
And decay and crumbling work of all.
The cake is solid, all from space, from space,
After the water lifts its worth and causes stress.

The comet of faith is now like a satellite,
In the very solar system of pride,
A constellation is with us, with our asteroid belt
When without nebulae, when with light.
The present picture is grim, not allowed,
For the future is less certain, as more years
Stimulate our straight sense, on decade upon decade,
After all millennia.

Journey through the furnace.

Many were called
But few were chosen
Into the call of academic glory
The journey many started
Ended with but a few.

7 scores and a decade*
Started the journey towards greatness
On the same path and terrace.
Some took another route
Some fell out fortuitously
4 scores and a half decade*
Got to the end of the road.

We who ended are no better
Than we who started the journey
In this great academia
With moral prison yards
And religious bigotry.

Reluctant To Be Reviewed

I love it when I hear,
Others can do what I do.
And show a better quality,
In the doing of it too.
And like others who listen to this lip,
They have nothing to show to prove any of it.

And I hear those comments made,
From decade to decade...
As I continue to present my own evidence.
To leave them with the same,
Voices of critique.
With nothing concrete from them at all.
Or a doing to apply a witnessed technique.

People are quick to correct others' flaws.
Or what they suspect is a blemish to inspect.
And yet are reluctant to be reviewed as they do.
To expose a doing from themselves...

The Iliad Odyssey: The Summary Of A Man

Odysseus indeed in spoils of war
with cunning brave heart, cleverly won,
many a fair desirable noble women
while his wife loyally waited, on Ithaca,

for warrior hero's fleet bloodied blade
in the hand of a Hellene king in duress,
foremost ever in corpse reaping battle
renowned for guile deceit resourcefulness,

will storm many fortified rampart hearts
enchant many fair young, innocent maids,
before finally ends an epic tragic Odyssey
decade upon a decade in event, laden journey,

for renown upon renown in famed Trojan War
an epic travails in trials score upon score
as virile Odysseus tries to spoils laden return fara
reassert his place as rightful king of Ithaca.

Minds Life Veil Secrets Seeking

yes both knowledge and beauty
can be the cause of pain and bliss
decade upon decade fermenting
in minds life veil secrets seeking
nature spoke in high mountains
even rocks spoke seasons stories
weather whispered seasons secrets
skies begged mind swim in thoughts

a fool philosopher parchment mutters
few souls will ever think in originals
will even have three original thoughts
not even one thought unique expresses
poet sings come share my melodies
written in bliss upon summer days

are life meaning multiple universes
dive from cliff faces into cool waters
bliss experiences free fall in minds
eager to hear nature's songs teaching

Three Boys On their Bicycles

Along the quiet back streets pedalling up and down
Three boys on their bicycles in the old country town
The prime years of their lives a decade ahead
The future belong to the youth as has often been said
The magpie on a street tree is fluting his song
As three boys on their bicycles pedal along
Chatting of football stars and the fortunes of their favourite football team
To be great football players they do often daydream
With their football boots slung across the handlebars to the football oval bound
'Tis every young players dream for to be best on ground
At the famed M C G on Grand Final Day
Though that for them over a decade away
Full of young ambition and dreams of renown
They pedal along the back streets of the town.

A Special New Year 1-1-11

A goodbye to a confused decade, goodbye to a year
As the weary old year wanes, bringing me a sad tear
History receives a turbulence filled decade and a 2010
...Many memories special to treasure, some laden with pain
The painful past should not, no longer must revive
For happiness to blossom, a journey magically will survive
Running out of years, my ebony black hair turns silver
The insensitive clock chimes to unfold another dawning year
A beautiful fleet and a majestic dignified display
For many decades to surface, with a radiance sail
With Two thousand and eleven wishes and many more
Wishing you my dears peace love and happiness galore
Many sweet dreams cherish smiling in good cheer

Buyer's Remorse

Buyer beware.
What you see,
Isn't what you always get.
That has been known.
But not always shown to reflect.
Now...
If we can only get you to listen,
And compare that to the rotten apples
You've been sold decade after decade...
There 'might' be some progress,
Instead of buyer's remorse...
You've been too comfortable to accept.
To later express regret!
With medical prescriptions,
Sought that are the best.
How does one get rid of an addiction,
To receiving disappointment...
That does not cure these afflictions?
How does that happen?
A change in routine...

What A Country!

For more than an era,
my Country relished the pains I suffer,
watching my banishment in alien lands.
When the vision is blurred by distance,
they spy me through the hole of a binocular,
and roar in peels of laughter;
one forty million of them relish my own holocaust.

Never had my country been like this before,
She had something called Heart,
teeming with humanity.
Now she ceases to be the country I knew.
Now she is all some decrepit rivers only,
some hamlets and towns,
here and there some vegetations;
Some houses, markets and on the grey meadows,
some people who just resemble humans.

Once my country throbbed with life,
My countrymen recited poems.
