Trash

(ferry/manzanera)
Are you customised or ready-made?
Heavy metal trick or treat?
Only seventeen
On the level trash is neat
Teenage fever oh youve got it bad
Caught the flavour want it all
Only seventeen
Bet you know the trash I mean
Row your features into magazines
Go to plaza - wheres the trade?
Only seventeen
Slips are lower trash is in

The Horse and Cart Ferry

It was old Jerry Brown,
Who’d an office in town,
And he used to get jocular, very;
And he’d go to the Shore
When they’d serve him no more,
And, of course, by the passenger ferry,
A sight on the passenger ferry.
Now this is a song of the ferry,
And a lay of the juice of the berry;
’Tis the ballad of Brown,
Who’d a business in town,
And commenced to go down
Very slow,
Don’t you know?
By coming home just a bit merry.

By the Drunks’ Boat—that’s right—
On a Saturday night
He would often be past being merry;
With his back teeth afloat,
On the twelve o’clock boat,
And a spectacle there on the ferry
(A picture to all on the ferry).

In the mornings, ashamed—
’Twas the last drink he blamed,
Though the first was the matter with Jerry,
With his nerve out of joint,
He’d sneak down to Blue’s Point,
And he’d cross by the horse-and-cart ferry,
Like a thief—by the horse-and-cart ferry.

But long before night
He’d most likely be tight,
And a subject and theme for George Perry;
And he’d cross to the Shore,
Somewhat worse than before,
And a nuisance to all on the ferry;
Singing-drunk on the passenger ferry.

And so it went on
Till his reason seemed gone,
And the Law, so it seemed, got a derry
On Brown. He went down,
And they sent him to town
One day, by “the trap,” on the ferry
The Government trap on the ferry.

He was sober and sane
When he came back again,

Summer Fever

Winds may come and the winds may flow
But theres no wind can cool me of my fever, summer fever
Summer fever
Time of love, time of year
Temperatures rising, our bodies near in fever, summer fever
Summer fever
A heat-wave run, a dog-day night
Were making love, things are right, its fever, summer fever
Summer fever
You burn so deep with your love so sweet
And you satisfy and mystify my fever, summer fever
Summer fever
Body to body, arms entwined
Locked in your love, feeling fine with fever, summer fever
Summer fever
Time of love, time of year
Temperatures rising, our bodies near in fever, summer fever
Summer fever
Winds may come and the winds may blow
But theres no wind can cool me of my fever, summer fever
Summer fever
You burn so deep with your love so sweet
And you satisfy and mystify my fever, summer fever
Summer fever
Fever, summer fever
Fever, summer fever

Row Jimmy

Julie catch a rabbit by his hair
Come back steppin like to walk on air
Get back home where you belong
And dont you run off no more.
Dont hang your head, let the two time roll
Grass shack nailed to a pine wood floor
Ask the time baby I dont know
Come back later, gonna let it show.
I say row jimmy row, gonna get there, I dont know,
Seems a common way to go, get out and row, row, row, row, row.
Heres a half dollar if you dare
Double twist when you hit the air,
Look at julie down below,
The levee doin the do-pas-o.
I say row jimmy row, gonna get there, I dont know
Seems a common way to go, get out and row, row, row, row, row.
Broken heart dont feel so bad,
You aint got half of what you thought you had.
Rock you baby to and fro
Not too fast and not too slow.
I say row jimmy row, gonna get there, I dont know,
Seems a common way to go, get out and row, row, row, row, row.
Thats the way its been in town,
Ever since they tore the jukebox down.
Two bit piece dont buy no more,
Not so much as it done before.
I say row jimmy row, gonna get there I dont know
Seems a common way to go, get out and row, row, row, row, row.

Heavy Metal Universe

We're the masters of the wind
We're demons left in howl
we're the undefeated warriors
we have heard the call

We're the keepers and the leaders
of the only thing we love
we're the saviours
and protectors from above

In your sky there is no limit
and masters we have none
heavy metal is the only one

'cause its heavy metal universe
an it's never going down
flying 'cross the universe
we're heavy metal bound
we're heavy metal bound

With a burning hot desire
like a supersonic blast
we have come to show the world
that we have come to last

There ain't no way to stop us
and you'll never kill our pride
'cause it's not only music
it's a chosen way of life

And our world has got no borders
and in union we all stand
'cause heavy metal is our promissed land

'cause it's a heavy metal universe
with a heavy metal sound
masters of the thunder
shake you to the ground

It's a heavy metal bomber
and it's never going down
flying 'cross the universe
we're heavy metal bound
we're heavy metal bound

See my hands held to the sky
let me rock you 'till forever
raise your voice we're soaring high
swear allegance now or never
burning up we build a flame

Fever

(words & music by john davenport - eddie coole)
Never know how much I love you
Never know how much I care
When you put your arms around me
I get a fever thats so hard to bear
You give me fever when you kiss me
Fever when you hold me tight
Fever in the morning
Fever all through the night.
Evrybodys got the fever
That is something you all know
Fever isnt such a new thing
Fever started long ago
Sun lights up the daytime
Moon lights up the night
I light up when you call my name
And you know Im gonna treat you right
You give me fever when you kiss me
Fever when you hold me tight
Fever in the morning
Fever all through the night
Romeo loved juliet
Juliet she felt the same
When he put his arms around her
He said julie, baby, youre my flame
Thou giv-est fever when we kisseth
Fever with the flaming youth
Fever Im afire
Fever yea I burn for sooth
Captain smith and pocahantas
Had a very mad affair
When her daddy tried to kill him
She said daddy, o, dont you dare
He gives me fever with his kisses
Fever when he holds me tight
Fever, Im his misses,
Oh daddy, wont you treat him right
Now youve listened to my story
Heres the point that I have made
Cats were born to give chicks fever
Be it fahrenheit or centigrade
They give you fever when you kiss them
Fever if you live and learn
Fever till you sizzle
What a lovely way to burn
What a lovely way to burn
What a lovely way to burn

Where's Your Head At?

Wheres your head at??
Wheres your head at??
Wheres your head at??
Dont let the walls
Cave in on you
We cant evolve alone
Without you
Dont let the walls
Cave in on you
We cant evolve alone
Without you
Dont let the walls
Cave in on you
You get what you give
That much is true
Dont let the walls
Cave in on you
You turned the world away
From you
Wheres your head at??
Wheres your head at??
Wheres your head at??
You have found yourself
Trapped in this
Incomprehensible maze
Wheres your head at??
Wheres your head at??
Dont make it easy on yourself
Wheres your head at??
Got to get
Got to get
Got to get
Got to get
Wheres your head at??
Wheres your head at??
Wheres your head at??
Wheres your head at??
Dont let the walls

Steamrock Fever

Live version
--------------
Wed like to introduce tonight the kings of a brand new style
Theyre hungry to play
Wed like to introduce tonight the new heavy steamrock style
Quite different and strange
Alright, how do you feel tonight
Get up to see and cry the name of the band
(steamrock band, steamrock band)
Steam right with hands and feet tonight
Get up to see and cry, and they will begin
Here they are
Steamrock fever, screaming rock believers
Steamrock fever in l.a.
Steamrock fever, screaming rock believers
Steamrock fever in l.a.
Alright, how do you feel tonight
Get up to see and cry the name of the band

Get up to see and cry, and they will begin

XI. Guido

You are the Cardinal Acciaiuoli, and you,
Abate Panciatichi—two good Tuscan names:
Acciaiuoli—ah, your ancestor it was
Built the huge battlemented convent-block
Over the little forky flashing Greve
That takes the quick turn at the foot o' the hill
Just as one first sees Florence: oh those days!
'T is Ema, though, the other rivulet,
The one-arched brown brick bridge yawns over,—yes,
Gallop and go five minutes, and you gain
The Roman Gate from where the Ema's bridged:
Kingfishers fly there: how I see the bend
O'erturreted by Certosa which he built,
That Senescal (we styled him) of your House!
I do adjure you, help me, Sirs! My blood
Comes from as far a source: ought it to end
This way, by leakage through their scaffold-planks
Into Rome's sink where her red refuse runs?
Sirs, I beseech you by blood-sympathy,
If there be any vile experiment
In the air,—if this your visit simply prove,
When all's done, just a well-intentioned trick,
That tries for truth truer than truth itself,
By startling up a man, ere break of day,
To tell him he must die at sunset,—pshaw!
That man's a Franceschini; feel his pulse,
Laugh at your folly, and let's all go sleep!
You have my last word,—innocent am I
As Innocent my Pope and murderer,
Innocent as a babe, as Mary's own,
As Mary's self,—I said, say and repeat,—
And why, then, should I die twelve hours hence? I
Whom, not twelve hours ago, the gaoler bade
Turn to my straw-truss, settle and sleep sound
That I might wake the sooner, promptlier pay
His due of meat-and-drink-indulgence, cross
His palm with fee of the good-hand, beside,
As gallants use who go at large again!
For why? All honest Rome approved my part;
Whoever owned wife, sister, daughter,—nay,
Mistress,—had any shadow of any right
That looks like right, and, all the more resolved,
Held it with tooth and nail,—these manly men
Approved! I being for Rome, Rome was for me.
Then, there's the point reserved, the subterfuge
My lawyers held by, kept for last resource,
Firm should all else,—the impossible fancy!—fail,
And sneaking burgess-spirit win the day.
The knaves! One plea at least would hold,—they laughed,—
One grappling-iron scratch the bottom-rock

The Symphony

"O Trade! O Trade! would thou wert dead!
The Time needs heart -- 'tis tired of head:
We're all for love," the violins said.
"Of what avail the rigorous tale
Of bill for coin and box for bale?
Grant thee, O Trade! thine uttermost hope:
Level red gold with blue sky-slope,
And base it deep as devils grope:
When all's done, what hast thou won
Of the only sweet that's under the sun?
Ay, canst thou buy a single sigh
Of true love's least, least ecstasy?"
Then, with a bridegroom's heart-beats trembling,
All the mightier strings assembling
Ranged them on the violins' side
As when the bridegroom leads the bride,
And, heart in voice, together cried:
"Yea, what avail the endless tale
Of gain by cunning and plus by sale?
Look up the land, look down the land
The poor, the poor, the poor, they stand
Wedged by the pressing of Trade's hand
Against an inward-opening door
That pressure tightens evermore:
They sigh a monstrous foul-air sigh
For the outside leagues of liberty,
Where Art, sweet lark, translates the sky
Into a heavenly melody.
`Each day, all day' (these poor folks say),
`In the same old year-long, drear-long way,
We weave in the mills and heave in the kilns,
We sieve mine-meshes under the hills,
And thieve much gold from the Devil's bank tills,
To relieve, O God, what manner of ills? --
The beasts, they hunger, and eat, and die;
And so do we, and the world's a sty;
Hush, fellow-swine: why nuzzle and cry?
"Swinehood hath no remedy"
Say many men, and hasten by,
Clamping the nose and blinking the eye.
But who said once, in the lordly tone,
"Man shall not live by bread alone
But all that cometh from the Throne?"
Hath God said so?
But Trade saith "No:"
And the kilns and the curt-tongued mills say "Go!
There's plenty that can, if you can't: we know.
Move out, if you think you're underpaid.
The poor are prolific; we're not afraid;
Trade is trade."'"

Wheres The Party

Working monday through friday
Takes up all of my time
If I can get to the weekend
Everything will work out just fine
Thats when I can go crazy
Thats when I can have fun
Time to be with my baby
Time to come undone
Chorus:
Wheres the party, I want to free my soul
Wheres the party, I want to lose control
Wheres the party, I want to free my soul
Wheres the party, I want to lose control
Couldnt wait to get older
Thought Id have so much fun
Guess Im one of the grown-ups
Now I have to get the job done
People give me the business
Im not living in fear
Im just living in chaos
Gotta get away from here
(chorus)
Intermediate:
Dont want to grow old too fast
Dont want to let the system get me down
Ive got to find a way to make the good times last
And if youll show me how, Im ready now
Slow down you move too fast
Gonna make the good times last
Gonna let my hair hang down
Im ready now
(repeat)
Wheres the party
Wheres the party, someone tell me
Wheres the party, come on, come on, come on
Wheres the party
(intermediate)
(chorus)
Slow down you move too fast
Gonna make the good times last
Gonna let my hair hang down
Im ready now
(repeat)
Wheres the party
Wheres the party, someone tell me
Wheres the party, come on, come on, come on
Wheres the party
We can make it all right
We can make you dance, we can make a party last all night
(repeat until end)

Teenage Love

(robert segarini)
Published by robertunes/slalom publishing co. - bmi
I dont want no older woman, who really doesnt dig my scene
And I dont want no spaced out groupie, who wants to be a gypsy queen
And I dont want no nasty lady, who doesnt dig rock n roll
Cause I just want the dew eyed daughter of a father that lost control
Gimme some teenage love, ooh gimme some teenage love
Come on baby, youre drivin me crazy, gimme some teenage love
I dont want no modern lover, who really doesnt dig my sound
And I dont want no boozed out floozy, who needs to lose a few more pounds
And I dont want no nasty lady, who doesnt dig rhythm and blues
Cause I just want the dew eyed daughter of a father that was born to lose
So gimme some teenage love, ooh gimme some teenage love
Come on baby, youre drivin me crazy, gimme some teenage love
I dont want no sophisticated lady, who really doesnt dig my scene
And I dont want no funky chickie, who used to be a country queen
And I dont want no rich bitch sugar, who doesnt dig rhythm and blues
Cause I just want the dew eyed daughter of a father that was born to lose
So gimme some teenage love, ooh gimme some teenage love
So come on baby, youre drivin me crazy, and gimme some teenage love
Gimme some teenage love, gimme some teenage love

I'm Bad

bad bad bad bad bad
bad bad bad bad bad
bad bad bad bad
I was bas born
I'd be badder when I die
I'm bad when I am sober
I'm badder when I'm high
I'm when I feel good
I'm bad when I'm blue
I'm bad to myself
So I'll be bad to you
So I'll be bad to you
I should've been good
Look at the trouble I've had
I would if I could
But I'm just bad
bad bad bad bad bad
bad bad bad bad
I'm, bad and I'm alive
I'll be badder when I'm dead
I'm bad in my body
man I'm badder in the head
I'm bad in the bed
Something wrong from the start
Guilt in my mind
Evil in my heart
Evil in my heart
I don't need to be happy
I don't care if I'm sad
I don't care about nothin'
Cause I'm bad bad bad bad bad
bad bad bad bad
Don't lend me a dollar
Don't lend me a dime
Don't lend me your wife
She'll have a good time
I'm bad in my car
I'm badder when I'm home
I'm bad when I'm with you
And I'm badder all alone
I'm a low down worm
I'm a conquering worm
I'm a blood-suckin' worm
I'm a slime baitin' worm
I'll put you on the hook
And I'll watch you squirm
I could never learn
Any young turks new tricks
I could never learn
Not to kick against the pricks

II. Half-Rome

What, you, Sir, come too? (Just the man I'd meet.)
Be ruled by me and have a care o' the crowd:
This way, while fresh folk go and get their gaze:
I'll tell you like a book and save your shins.
Fie, what a roaring day we've had! Whose fault?
Lorenzo in Lucina,—here's a church
To hold a crowd at need, accommodate
All comers from the Corso! If this crush
Make not its priests ashamed of what they show
For temple-room, don't prick them to draw purse
And down with bricks and mortar, eke us out
The beggarly transept with its bit of apse
Into a decent space for Christian ease,
Why, to-day's lucky pearl is cast to swine.
Listen and estimate the luck they've had!
(The right man, and I hold him.)

Sir, do you see,
They laid both bodies in the church, this morn
The first thing, on the chancel two steps up,
Behind the little marble balustrade;
Disposed them, Pietro the old murdered fool
To the right of the altar, and his wretched wife
On the other side. In trying to count stabs,
People supposed Violante showed the most,
Till somebody explained us that mistake;
His wounds had been dealt out indifferent where,
But she took all her stabbings in the face,
Since punished thus solely for honour's sake,
Honoris causâ, that's the proper term.
A delicacy there is, our gallants hold,
When you avenge your honour and only then,
That you disfigure the subject, fray the face,
Not just take life and end, in clownish guise.
It was Violante gave the first offence,
Got therefore the conspicuous punishment:
While Pietro, who helped merely, his mere death
Answered the purpose, so his face went free.
We fancied even, free as you please, that face
Showed itself still intolerably wronged;
Was wrinkled over with resentment yet,
Nor calm at all, as murdered faces use,
Once the worst ended: an indignant air
O' the head there was—'t is said the body turned
Round and away, rolled from Violante's side
Where they had laid it loving-husband-like.
If so, if corpses can be sensitive,
Why did not he roll right down altar-step,
Roll on through nave, roll fairly out of church,
Deprive Lorenzo of the spectacle,

Tale XXI

The Learned Boy

An honest man was Farmer Jones, and true;
He did by all as all by him should do;
Grave, cautious, careful, fond of gain was he,
Yet famed for rustic hospitality:
Left with his children in a widow'd state,
The quiet man submitted to his fate;
Though prudent matrons waited for his call,
With cool forbearance he avoided all;
Though each profess'd a pure maternal joy,
By kind attention to his feeble boy;
And though a friendly Widow knew no rest,
Whilst neighbour Jones was lonely and distress'd;
Nay, though the maidens spoke in tender tone
Their hearts' concern to see him left alone,
Jones still persisted in that cheerless life,
As if 'twere sin to take a second wife.
Oh! 'tis a precious thing, when wives are dead,
To find such numbers who will serve instead;
And in whatever state a man be thrown,
'Tis that precisely they would wish their own;
Left the departed infants--then their joy
Is to sustain each lovely girl and boy:
Whatever calling his, whatever trade,
To that their chief attention has been paid;
His happy taste in all things they approve,
His friends they honour, and his food they love;
His wish for order, prudence in affairs,
An equal temper (thank their stars!), are theirs;
In fact, it seem'd to be a thing decreed,
And fix'd as fate, that marriage must succeed:
Yet some, like Jones, with stubborn hearts and

hard,
Can hear such claims and show them no regard.
Soon as our Farmer, like a general, found
By what strong foes he was encompass'd round,
Engage he dared not, and he could not fly,
But saw his hope in gentle parley lie;
With looks of kindness then, and trembling heart,
He met the foe, and art opposed to art.
Now spoke that foe insidious--gentle tones,
And gentle looks, assumed for Farmer Jones:
'Three girls,' the Widow cried, 'a lively three
To govern well--indeed it cannot be.'
'Yes,' he replied, 'it calls for pains and care:
But I must bear it.'--'Sir, you cannot bear;
Your son is weak, and asks a mother's eye:'
'That, my kind friend, a father's may supply.'

They All Went To Mexico

Wheres my pal, wheres my friend
All good things must have an end
Sad things and nothings
On and on they go
I guess he went to mexico
Chorus:
They all went to mexico
Buenas dias, got to go
Tengo que obedecer
Mi corazon
They all went to mexico
Wheres my mule, wheres my dray
Straw hats packed up and gone
Away
Mule dont go north and dray go slow
They both went to mexico
Wheres my sweetie, wheres the face
That lit dark corners every place
She put up with me long time you know
And then she had to go to mexico
Chorus
Wheres my brown dog, wheres my hound
He liked my truck he hung around
But hes a canine romeo
And I guess he went to mexico
Wheres that woman so sweet, so mean
Her heart was cautious her mind was keen
She was always looking for the peccadillo
I hope she went to mexico
Chorus
Wheres decembers happy crew
With german bikes and sidecars too
They take the truck south to st. louis, mo
Motorcycle all the way to mexico
Wheres my luck, wheres my grace
Has it all been just a foolish chase
Every time I hear that rainy chill wind blow
I think it might be time to head to mexico

Bad Girl

Bad Girl"
Sho nuff
Shawty
What it do?
Oooooooh
Pimpin', oh boy
uh
What y'all know about a supermodel
Fresh outta Elle magazine
Buy her own bottles
Look pimp juice, I need me one
Bad than a mutha
I hear you sayin'
I need a bad girl
If you're a bad girl
Playas when you see me
Act like you know me
I keep a dollar worth of dimes
You know pimpin' ain't easy
For all my chicks in the club
Who knows how to cut a rug
If you're a bad girl
Get at me bad girl
[Chorus]
Ooh work me baby
Shakin' it the way I like
I'm ready to be bad
I need a bad girl (say yeah)
Get at me bad girl
What sexy lady's comin' home with me tonight?
I'm ready to be bad
I need a bad girl (super bad baby)
Get at me bad girl
Now I've seen a lotta broads
All on one accord
Everyone looked the same but
Take a look at my dame (my dame)
Fo' sho', she take that Hpnotiq or Alize
There ain't much more I can say but (I need a)
I need a bad girl (bad girl)
If you're a bad girl
Got one thou' on the bar now
Chick need a drink on the flo' now
Look at them bad girls movin' it
Makin' faces while they doin' it
Oh, I wanna take one to the restroom
So close I'm smellin' like your perfume
If you're a bad girl
Get at me bad girl
[Chorus]
