Note the difference between a right and a privilege. A right, in the abstract, is a fact; it is not a thing to be given, established, or conferred; it is. Of the exercise of a right power may deprive me; of the right itself, never. Privilege, in the abstract, does not exist; there is no such thing. Rights recognized, privilege is destroyed. But, in the practical, the moment you admit a supreme authority, you have denied rights. Practically the supremacy has all the rights, and no matter what the human race possesses, it does so merely at the caprice of that authority.

What is the difference between....?

What is the difference between black and white?
What is the difference between day and night?
What is the difference between love and hate?
What is the difference between a woman and a mate?
The answers seem to be so easy
as the difference between to be free and to be busy.
But! Can you tell me the difference between a lie and a truth?
Can you tell me the difference between old age and youth?
Will you tell me the difference between a grant and a sob?
If you don’t know this difference you can flop.
I would like to know the difference between wrong and right,
I would like to know the difference between a war and a fight.
If you know the answers please, write.
It will be interesting to know your opinion,
And may be I will find it to be brilliant.

No Matter What the Feedback

You've got to breathe.
No matter what the feedback,
Attacking like an enemy.
Take a deep breath,
And get yourself some relief.
You can't treat everybody
Like somebody with a special need.

You've got to breathe.
No matter what the feedback,
Attacking like an enemy.
Take a deep breath,
And get yourself some relief.
You can't treat everybody
Like somebody with a special need.

You can not please...
This one
That one
Everyone who 'cops' a plea.
Take a quick stand,
And don't dare hint or tease.
Do that while you can
Before you dropp in a faint
To your knees!

You've got to breathe.
No matter what the feedback,
Attacking like an enemy.
Take a quick stand,
And don't dare hint or tease.
Do that while you can
Before you dropp in a faint
To your knees!

You can't treat everybody,
Like somebody with a special need.

You can't treat everybody,
Like somebody with a special need.
And no matter what the feedback,
Get yourself relief!

No Matter What The Tactics Used

No one can be chased away from their self confidence.
No matter what the tactics used...
To show them to be full of themselves with ego.

One who survives being attacted for their appearance,
And identity...
To then crawl to their feet from being on their knees,
Literally and emotionally...
Those looking will rarely find,
Someone like this...
Hiding behind their discomforts to complain.

And any and all mistreatments are remembered to motivate,
Those achievements shown to be believed...
To those unfamiliar with the sight of accomplishment.
Those with a self confidence,
Are quick to show...
And not embellish from their lips to express.
Aware they are of where to place their footsteps.

No one can be chased away from their self confidence.
People like this are determined to succeed.
No matter where they are to ensure the act is done.
And...
No matter what the tactics used to address,
What they have been taught to learn to do at their best.

My Wedding Day

My wedding day
The day before it we had a fight
Bits and pieces stay in the mind
Your tears and my fright
For all you would not say,
Became as a wall between us that night.

My wedding day
So many lights
Wanting to disappear into the crowd
Can't you take me away?
Please, listen......
Hear the words I am afraid to say.

My wedding day
Why in the world am I here?
This isn't truly where I long to be....
Please, just say the words,
The ones you'd speak to set me free.

My wedding day
A smile on my face to mask the sorrow
This wasn't what I wanted....
I've truly only wanted you.
The biggest mistake I'll ever make...
Are these vows I'm about to take.

My wedding day
And in the end I am in your arms
But for only heartbeat; a moment-
You hold me close as your tears overflow.
All I ever really wanted was to hold you....
And forever it breaks my heart
That you chose to let me go.

No Matter What You Think Of Me

No matter what you think of me,
Will not change the course of my destiny.
Nor will the anguish of accomplishing my tasks...
On this path.
Where obstacles remain.
Where they for me,
Seem to last.
To sustain each day I grasp and pass.

Perhaps if I sought your approval,
I could gain some rest from that rejection.
Your lack of acceptance,
Would enhance my own dejection.

But no matter what you think of me,
Will not change my destiny.
I've toiled on this journey too long.
And what you perceive for me to be wrong...
Will not affect my insight.
I have struggled to maintain it.
With a faith that has kept me strong!
Days long and sleepless nights.

And no matter what you think of me...
There have been others who have thought far worse.
God had placed them on my path,
First!
To rehearse any emotions felt.
To conquer and to rid.
Knowing too well how now they must be dealt!
Alone...
Within me.
And without the thought of seeking outside approval.
From either open or closed eyelids.
Mine, yours or others.

It is that you have fled from me

It is that you have fled from me that makes me seek
With barefoot stalking your ghost image in my chamber
Where once I have seen you gentle, tame, naked and meek
That now you are free and wild and do not remember
That since you have left me you put yourself in great danger
You the one that took bread at my hand, now you range
Busily seeking other love with continual change

True I shall thank my fortune for crossing with your life; otherwise
What joy or happiness could have been so special
In thin array after a pleasant guise
When your loose gown from your shoulders fell
Exposing the silhouette of lovely breast too intoxicating to tell
And then you caught me in your ivory arms long and small
There withal sweetly as ever sweet you did my lips kiss
And softly and lowly whispered “Dear heart how you like this? ”

Was I delirious? No it was not a dream I lay broad waking
But now all is turned through my gentleness
Into a strange fashion of forgivable forsaking
And reality is forcing me to let go of your goodness
And you roam else to use newfangledness
But since I, so kindly of you, have been generously served
Forsaken at pebbled shores your sailing ship observed
I fain would know if life has bestowed you what you deserved

You Have No Vision

You are talking like a fool!
Because, you have no vision;
Ready to make war with others,
Because you have no views.
Overnight, over, night, in, on, no, go!
But, talking like a fool;
Because, you have no vision.

You have the right to feel, you are successful

Success, sweet success
Success, it is waiting for you
To own and hold on to it

Success of any kind
Has easy access
If you are after it restlessly

Success is not indeed the end
It is the beginning of a
New chain of successes

Simple it is to be successful
So simple, you wonder how many of us are not at it

It all depends on what you feel
Success means to you
You may school your thoughts
And train your emotions
To feel successful on everything
That happens around you

Your retention of all your
Physical, mental and social abilities
Is indeed your success

Your ability to make friends
And help them out in times of need
Is indeed your success

Your ability to keep your cool
In emotionally competing events
And situations
Is indeed your success

Your ability to make your ends meet
Come over challenges, emotional or otherwise
At the right time and in a rightful manner
Is indeed a success

Your ability to stand up
And hold on to your values
Is indeed a success

Your ability to be able to
Discharge your assigned responsibilities
Is indeed your success

Your ability to objectively assess
People and events
Without painting them subjectively
Is indeed your success

Your ability to stay most of your time positive
Progressive and productive
Creative and innovative
Is indeed your success

Your ability to hold on to
Your original traits
Without succumbing to the temptations
Of becoming someone else
Is indeed your success

If this forms your scale to measure success
You have the right to feel
You are successful

The Moment You Left Me

The moment you left me
I suffered the whole night long
Thats where I go wrong
And thats where you go wrong
When Ive got a problem
Say Ill talk to the whole wide world
Yes I will, yes I will
Im gonna love you
Im gonna squeeze you
Im gonna do all the things
That I forgot to do
Thinking about my saviour with a smile
Oh she can talk about chasing
The heart in me away
Tell me, tell me
Is that where she goes wrong
Im gonna love you
Im gonna squeeze you
Im gonna do all the things
That I forgot to do
Now that Ive made the right solution
I think that Ive found the right resolution
Heaven knows where you go
Im gonna love you
Im gonna squeeze you
Im gonna do all the things
That I forgot to do

The Struggle To Overcome The Difference Between The Impossible And The Possible'(Version-1 Written by Myself)

The struggle to overcome the difference between the impossible and the possible.
Hidden inside like a fatal wound in the mind
Encouragement has been playing the role of a crucible

Staring at the dilemma “Struggle” itself has gone mad
Transformable attitude perhaps can make the difference
Reality must be sometimes so sad
Unless you are able to struggle towards maturity
Go! Go right away to fight the impossibility
Gild yourself with the golden rules of purity
Let not the ‘lie’ prevail over the Truth
Everywhere you go take this with your spirit

Thought surrounds me always how to beat the uncouth
Or the impossible which should be the word to be precise

Off and on I force myself to conquer the differences
Vastly I practice how to exercise
Exercise to maintain life’s morality
Recoil if any possible stain of sin occurs
Can anyone vanquish this hardest difference of ability?
Oh! Yes, Sometimes I feel this ‘anyone’ is me
May be it isMe’ because I know the difference
Entirely apprehensible that is if you can see

Then again to eject the impossibilities isn’t always good
Have to have patience not being over confident
End is the beginning sometimes where things can go rude

Day-Dreamers can hardly take the challenge
In fact everything is possible on this earth
For will power we just need to know our range
Fake or real Possibilities can change the Impossible
Everywhere we go we have the options
“Really? ”you may ask which is also possible
Everywhere we go we have our ways
Next to us we have it which I bear away to win
Can we ever dare to face those days?
Endless conceivable things when knock at the door

Believe it or leave it we have to face it out
Even if you consider this an infrequent delirium lying on the floor
There’s no way we could escape facing the conflict
Wondering how we have to do this?
Easy, so easy, even you can thus have the verdict
Especially if you fail to submit yourself to the task
Nobody is ever going to help you

The struggling mind of yours will help if you ask
Hideous thoughts may disdain your motives
Effectively you will be your own master

If only you can forget your relatives
Mind you here even your kindred won’t let you struggle
Perhaps they love you but they won't let you do the ‘Impossible’
Only what they can do is your secret to smuggle
So, Beware! If you want the unattainable
Sloth and somber here are the foes
Impatience behavior shouldn’t be maintainable
Beautiful varnish of time tries to enamour
Love will never meet there the cry craven
Especially when the door of 'Possibility' is actually ajar

Airily we must not always struggle to prepare
No wrack is anywhere to befall
Doing things in God’s name can hinder you to scare

There’s no impossibility if we can be strong
Highly anticipated meditative power can change it all
Even the possibilities sometimes can be wrong

Pay no heed rather look forward to achieve
Obviously the darkness has no space to fulfill
Smile and learn not to pile on the agony to grieve
Soul with soul, mind with mind is the bond
Incorporated to overcome all that is to come
Be sure not to join with the coward or the vagabond
Love to struggle with God’s will till the end of the day
Eventually ‘Nothing is Impossible’ is what you will find to say.

The Old Dog That I Met This Morning

its right eye is missing
there is no eyeball
to see, it is blank and
black,
its left eye looks at me
asking for
a master

to feed it
and take
it away from
the long
road
that takes
it somewhere

i am helpless
and proceeded
to take
my own direction

You Have The Power From Within

You have a glowing power it shines from within,

you’ve had it since the day you were born,

this power won’t grow dim.

It comes from your heart,

that’s where it’s always been.

No person, place or thing can take it away,

it is your God-given right,

it will be with you everyday, morning, noon and night.

Every day of your life, you can use this source,

it will never run out, because it’s like a small little voice,

it grows and grows the more you use it,

it comes from the freedom of choice.

So remember this glowing power from within,

it’s like your best friend,

You can count on it again and again.

The End.

The Moment You Arrived

The moment you arrived,
I knew you too.
Your eyes penetrated through,
My inhabitions hidden.

And free I felt to be myself.
With a flow between us,
Growing unrestricted...
To dissolve blocking walls,
Easily.

The moment you arrived...
To recognize you and I,
Could provide...
Communicated conversation,
No longer waiting with a patience to connect.
We knew what to expect would be accepted,
Next.

And we knew,
Anticipated steps directed...
Without the benefit of a single guess,
Would never again be neglected.

The moment you arrived,
I knew you too.
Your eyes penetrated through,
My inhabitions hidden.

And free I felt to be myself.
With a flow between us,
Growing unrestricted...
To dissolve blocking walls,
Easily.

The moment you arrived,
I...
Cried with joy,
Inside.
I...
Cried with joy,
I attempted to hide...
The moment you arrived.

Do You Know the Power That You Have?

Just a glance from the corner, the wink of an eye
an innocent brush as you try to squeeze by,
The smell of your hair and the sound of your sigh,

Do you know the power that you have?

A naive young man, in a nasty street fight
defending her honor, not wrong and not right
a possible death in the yellow street light.

Do you know the power that you have?

A child growing up is her fathers' true pride
always honest and loving, with nothing to hide.
Responsible still, for his feelings inside.

Do you know the power that you have?

From a lifetime of learning you now have to teach,
to the young and upcoming, success is their reach.
Dividing the portions of knowledge to each

Do you know the power that you have?

And now at the end, you lay there alone
no motion, no heart beat, no need for a home
drawing tears from the eyes of the loved ones that roam

Did you ever know the power that you had

The Difference Between A Rooster And A Man

on the grass i see this rooster wearing a thick red comb,
tall for its lowly status, and well muscled as may be gleaned from the
thickness of its black, red and white feathers

how can he notice me stopping by to observe it
when its attention is focused on two slender hens
one is red the other white getting near it
and without any inhibition at all he copulated on each
of those two slender hens, quickly as a quickie

i can imagine in a few days, the two hens cackle with
lots of eggs for the owner now prepared with a big basket
to bring the produce to a crowded market

if i as a man does what a rooster does, you very well know
what happens next

it will be the people of this republic v. ric
and his dismissal from the government service

it makes me think however, on the other hand, the happiness of
the owner selling more eggs in the market because the rooster
had been kind and obliging to the two hens and the other hens in the yard

what about it God?

The Only Daddy That'll Walk The Line (live)

Everybody knows you been steppin' on my toes
And I'm gettin pretty tired of it
Keep steppin' outta line and messin' with my mind
If you had any sense, you'd quit
But ever since you were just a little bitty girl
Since I was the only man in this whole world
Now you better do some thinking then you'll find
You got the only daddy that'll walk the line
I keep workin' everyday, all you wanna do is play
I'm sick of stayin' out all night
You've been coming unglued from your funny little moods
So, honey-baby, that ain't right
'Cause ever since you were just a little bitty girl
Since I was the only man in this whole world
Now you better do some thinking then you'll find
You got the only daddy that'll walk the line
Everybody knows you been steppin' on my toes
And still just puttin' me on
When I start-a-walkin', don't I hear you start-a-squawkin'
Beggin' me to come back home
'Cause ever since you were just a little bitty girl
Since I was the only man in this whole world
Now you better do some thinking then you'll find
You got the only daddy that'll walk the line

From the last hill that looks on thy once holy dome

(On the Day of the Destruction of Jerusalem by Titus)

I
From the last hill that looks on thy once holy dome,
I beheld thee, Oh Sion! when rendered to Rome:
'Twas thy last sun went down, and the flames of thy fall
Flash'd back on the last glance I gave to thy wall.

II
I look'd for thy temple, I look'd for my home,
And forgot for a moment my bondage to come;
I beheld but the death-fire that fed on thy fane,
And the fast-fetter'd hands that made vengeance in vain.

III
Oh many an eve, the high spot whence I gazed
Had reflected the last beam of day as it blazed;
While I stood on the height, and beheld the decline
Of the rays from the mountain that shone on thy shrine.

IV
And now on that mountain I stood on that day,
But I marked not the twilight beam melting away;
Oh! would that the lightning had glared in its stead,
And the thunderbolt burst on the conqueror's head!

V
But the Gods of the Pagan shall never profane
The shrine where Jehovah disdain'd not to reign;
And scattered and scorn'd as thy people may be,
Our worship, oh Father! is only for thee.

when you have forgotten Sunday: the love story

And when you have forgotten the bright bedclothes on a Wednesday and a Saturday,
And most especially when you have forgotten Sunday—
When you have forgotten Sunday halves in bed,
Or me sitting on the front-room radiator in the limping afternoon
Looking off down the long street
To nowhere,
Hugged by my plain old wrapper of no-expectation
And nothing-I-have-to-do and I’m-happy-why?
And if-Monday-never-had-to-come—
When you have forgotten that, I say,
And how you swore, if somebody beeped the bell,
And how my heart played hopscotch if the telephone rang;
And how we finally went in to Sunday dinner,
That is to say, went across the front room floor to the ink-spotted table in the southwest corner
To Sunday dinner, which was always chicken and noodles
Or chicken and rice
And salad and rye bread and tea
And chocolate chip cookies—
I say, when you have forgotten that,
When you have forgotten my little presentiment
That the war would be over before they got to you;
And how we finally undressed and whipped out the light and flowed into bed,
And lay loose-limbed for a moment in the week-end
Bright bedclothes,
Then gently folded into each other—
When you have, I say, forgotten all that,
Then you may tell,
Then I may believe
You have forgotten me well.

Refuse To Be The One With That Title

Picking with an esteem,
A choice not to be one idle.
And not one to be guided by...
A looking with eyes from side to side.

Picking with an esteem,
A choice not to be one idle.
And not one to be guided by...
A looking with eyes from side to side.

Looking ahead and keeping one's faith,
With a hold that shows one bridled.
Are the ones who never wait too late...
Until time from them has escaped.

Picking with an esteem,
A choice not to be idle.
And not one to be guided by...
A looking with eyes from side to side.

Picking with an esteem,
A choice not to be...idle.
And not one to be guided by...
A looking with eyes from side to side.

Procrastinators are the ones to make mistakes.
And found to be...idle.
As they watch time from them fly right by...
While trying to catch up with slow strides.

Picking with an esteem,
A choice not to be one idle.
And not one to be guided by...
A looking with eyes from side to side.

Picking with an esteem,
A choice not to be...idle.
And not one to be guided by...
A looking with eyes from side to side.

Procrastinators are the ones to make mistakes.
And found to be those idle.
While trying to catch up with slow strides,
As they watch time from them fly right by.

Don't procrastinate and find it's much too late.
Refuse to be the one left idle.
Don't procrastinate and find it's much too late.
Refuse to be the one left idle.
Don't procrastinate and find it's much too late.
Refuse to be the one left idle.
Refuse to be the one left idle.
And...
Don't procrastinate,
To find it's much too late.
Refuse to be the one...
With that title.

Unless And Until You Have Grasped The Essence Of The Self

Unless and until you have grasped the essence of the Self
Vain are all your efforts and like unseasonal rains,
You have wasted your human birth.

So what if you have taken a holy bath
Or offered twilight prayers and worship?
So what if you have stayed at home and given alms?
So what if you keep matted locks and smear ashes?
So what if you have plucked hair on your head?
Unless and until you have grasped the essence of the Self
Vain are all your efforts and like unseasonal rains,
You have wasted your human birth.

So what if you indulge in recitation, penance or go on a pilgrimage?
So what if you count beads and chant the holy name
So what if you put on at il ak or worship Tulsi?
So what if you drink the water of Ganga?
Unless and until you have grasped the essence of the Self
Vain are all your efforts and like unseasonal rains,
You have wasted your human birth.

So what if you speak of theVedas or grammar?
So what if you enjoy yourself and have a good time?
So what if you have grasped the distinctions
Between the six systems of philosophy?
So what if you have adhered to the distinction of caste?
Unless and until you have grasped the essence of the Self
Vain are all your efforts and like unseasonal rains,
You have wasted your human birth.

All these are worldly pursuits for filling one's belly
Until you have seen the absolutebr ahman.
Says Narsinh, without beholding the Essence
One wastes his birth precious asChi nt amani Jewel.
Unless and until you have grasped the essence of the Self
Vain are all your efforts and like unseasonal rains,
You have wasted your human birth.
