Every Woman II... For William O Everson

every woman
I make no judgement
large small fat thin
old, young
though not too young
(I am an old man)
I accept as a beautiful landscape
a work of art to reach
to touch
to be gazed upon

every woman
a rosary I wish to pray
a set of beads I wish to tell
with aching fingers...
a sacred set of mysteries

every woman
a beautiful field I wish to roll in
a field of flowers
of mown hay
a harvest to be taken in for winter

every woman
a warm summer pond to lie into
to be held caressed
every gully every turn
a new sense of wonder

still

every woman a rosary
sacred silent deep
an offering from God
to God a whisper
of a promise

For every woman

For every woman my advice:
It is certainly nice
to read Kama Sutra,
to know who was Palaliputra.
But… when your husband is hungry
You better be in a hurry
And take another book
which tells you how to cook.
After a good and tasty meal
he will satisfy your will.

What Every Woman Lives For

(words & music by pomus - shuman)
She may say she needs fancy bangles and beads
Thats part of a womans plan
But what every woman lives for
What every woman lives for
Is to give her love to a man
Wise men have known women cant live alone
So a woman should understand
That what every woman lives for
What every woman lives for
Is to give her love to a man
He may not be the kind you find in picture books
A real life hero with dashing handsome looks
He may not be the guy that youve been dreaming of
But that wont stop you from giving him your love
So dear, cant you see that it was meant to be
Its part, part of our destiny
cause what every woman lives for
What every woman lives for
Is to give her love to a man
And I hope that man is me

Im Every Woman

Whatever you want
Whatever you need
Anything you want done baby
Ill do it naturally
Cause Im every woman
Its all in me
Its all in me
(chorus 1): Im every woman
Its all in me
Anything you want done baby
I do it naturally
(chorus 2): Im every woman
Its all in me
I can read your thoughts right now
Every one from a to z
I can cast a spell
Of secrets you can tell
Mix a special brew
Put fire inside of you
Anytime you feel danger or fear
Instantly I will appear, cause
(chorus 1)
Oh, I consent your needs
Like rain on to the seeds
I can make a rhyme
Of confusion in your mind
And when I comes down to some good old fashioned love
I got it
I got it
I got it, got, got it, baby, baby, baby
(chorus 1 & 2)
I aint braggin
Cause Im the one
Just ask me
Ooh, and it shall be done
And dont bother
To compare
I got it
Im every woman (repeat till fade)
Im every woman (repeat till fade)

Every Woman Has A Name

You were so beatiful
Like a child so young and full of life
Seems a hundred years ago
You saw everything
So much more tragedy than good
You eaven watched the world blow cold
And eaven when you're world was shaking
Eaven when you're breath was taken
Eaven when you're blue eyes turned to grey
Small town debutants and queens
Every woman has a name
Cocktail waitresses with dreams
Every woman has a name
And every girl who's loves survives
A broken heart to stay alive
You signed you're picture in the frame
Every woman has a name
You had your love affair
Some were perfect but most of them we're pain
Seems a hundred years ago
It took you to the highest hill
Left you standing frozen in the rain
But you still feel the afterglow
And eaven when you're world was shaking
Eaven when you're breath was taken
Eaven when you're blue eyes turned to grey
Housewife's crying on the phone
Every woman has a name
Sacred sisters all alone
Every woman has a name
And eaven on the coldest day
When the kids are gone, moved away
It's loneley now, there's noone there
To hold you're hand and play
I see it written on the grave
Every woman has a name

The ladies Know! ! this one is for the guys

The ladies know

She vacillates, procrastinates
she can’t decide what she should wear.
To the annoyance of her mate
her indecision hard to bear.

Men simply don’t appreciate
the efforts that a lady makes
Her clothing must co ordinate.
She can’t afford to make mistakes

Subjected to close scrutiny
of other ladies eagle eyes
She must be turned our perfectly
Although her loving husband tries

to tell her she looks beautiful.
She knows that he is prejudiced
as well as being dutiful
and so she dithers paralysed

Or so it seems but it’s not true
The lady acts out her charade
she knows exactly what to do.
Part of the little scheme she’s made.

His patience coming to an end.
Her mate insists that she must dress.
They have no choice they must attend
He is quite sure she will impress.

She’s wise enough to recognise
that he will brook no argument.
So very quickly she complies
. Her partner registers his content.

When they arrive a little late
as she intended they would be.
She makes an entry with her mate
and all the while smiles radiantly.

She has upstaged her enemies
Her crafty plan a great success
Her one intent was to displease
the other ladies more nor less.

Her faithful husband unaware.
He is completely innocent
of grudges which the ladies bear.
Can’t understand their discontent.

But then of course he’s just a man.
If looks could kill she would be dead
She’s hated by every woman.
Though not one crossword will be said.

The feud continues constantly
As every lady tries her best
to show her rivals only she
Stands out above the rest.

Some times they win, sometimes they lose.
Tonight the winners crown is hers
The men folk simply chat and booze
and disregard the hate filled stares.

The ladies know and they intend
to take her down a peg or two
But for the moment they pretend.
Because that’s what real ladies do.

In Every Woman, A Diana

In every woman is a river of love
that flows to all lands
that feels, that comforts and understands.

In every woman is a sea of pain
when rejected, when unwanted
by those whom she commits to live with.

In every woman is a dark cloud
of uncertainty of one`s identity
projected in many mysterious ways.

Every Woman I... For William O. Everson

every woman
a rosary bead
all the same
yet all the different prayer

every woman
a different prayer
all the same
yet a deeper crisis of faith

every woman
a deeper crisis of faith
all the same
but greater the gift

every woman
a greater gift
all the same
A reflection of a greater God

every woman
a rosary
a prayer
a crisis
a faith
a gift
a reflection of God

¤*Every Woman*¤!

Ever womans beauty
Comes from deep within
Covered in a dusty cloud
Of volcanic fierceness
Waiting to erupt
And flame to greatness

Every woman
Starts as a tiny grain
Of sand
Only to mature
To the most
Precious of pearls

Every woman
Is a symbol of protection
Poised in the grass
To strike her foe

Every woman
Is placed in a shell
Only to harden
And bloom
To brightness

Every woman
Is a light at the
End of the tunnel
Lighting her way
Through the darkness

Every woman
Is a symbol
Of a new beginning

Shes Every Woman

Shes sun and rain, shes fire and ice
A little crazy but its nice
And when she gets mad, you best leave her alone
cause shell rage just like a river
Then shell beg you to forgive her
Shes every woman that Ive ever known.
Shes so new york and then l.a.
And every town along the way
Shes every place that Ive never been
Shes makin love on rainy nights
Shes a stroll through christmas lights
And shes everything I want to do again.
It needs no explanation
cause it all makes perfect sense
For when it comes down to temptation
Shes on both sides of the fence.
No it needs no explanation
cause it all makes perfect sense
When it comes down to temptation
Shes on both sides of the fence.
Shes anything but typical
Shes so unpredictable
Oh but even at her worst it aint that bad
Shes as real as real can be
And shes every fantasy
Lord shes every lover that Ive ever had
And shes every lover that Ive never had

Every Woman Who Dresses Like You

Like King David’s bed,
My bed is swimming with tears,
The not seeing you down these lonely years
Of heartbreak and multiplying fears;
I’m dreaming of you, simply dreaming of you,
But these dreams are merely
A disappointing substitute.

I breathe your perfume in fashionable boutiques,
I gaze at bouquets you would have adored at floral shops,
I notice every woman who dresses like you
Of a certain age and height,
I imagine they’re you, I pray they’re you,
But it is all a mind device to console me.

I’ve been fasting in this emotional desert,
I’m losing my strength and my real essence,
I’m wasting away with such a hunger
To see the world through your eyes,
To watch your hair flirt with the sunlight,
To touch your hands in a theater or church pew,
To live my life entwined with you.

Everything is difficult now,
Sleep has flown away like a bird,
I remain awake in the pale moonlight
That has disowned me as a lover
And frowns at my presence in the night.

Every Woman Wants To Dance

Every woman wants to dance
Every woman wants the chance.

Behind closed doors
All the fiery sexy sways,
Even thru her kitchen days,
She’ll use her pegs as castanets
As soggy towels her hands do wets.
Over fence, neighbours know they have seen,
The local show of the dancing queen,
Radio’s Rolling Stones belt out the action to
‘I can’t get no satisfaction’,
A million hips gyrate on the table tops
As they swing and hug the upturned mops.

Every woman wants to dance
Every woman wants the chance.

In the shops in the office the toes do tap,
As boys outside dance the sidewalk rap,
The female face shows thoughtful glares
‘Where on earth are the Fred Astaire’s? ’
They want to show their legs in the Cha Cha Cha,
Even if they dance on the drinkers bar,
Woman does not need a dancing smaltz
To drag them thru the lovely waltz.
When man comes home to her alone
A surprise he secured by office phone,
Two tickets to the fireman’s ball for her desire,
They will put out her dancing fire,

Every woman wants to dance
Every woman will, given the chance.

Crazy 'bout An Automobile (Every Woman I Know)

(william r. emerson)
-man, i'm gonna tell you my story
-go on and tell about it, go on and tell about it more
-just what i've been doing
-what you've been doing, ry ?
-well, you know i used to be particular about the womens that i picked
-aha!
-yeah! they used to be tender, lean and tall, that's all
-but the way things has been going, i'll take 'em knock-kneed and bow-legged
-what ?
-i'll even take 'em bald! man. i'll tell you why
-please, tell me why!
Every woman i know is crazy 'bout an automobile
Every woman i know is crazy 'bout an automobile
And here i am standing with nothing but rubber heels.
He-hey, every woman i know, crazy 'bout an automobile
Oh, every woman i know, crazy 'bout an automobile
And here i am standing with nothing but rubber heels.
Now look'it here!
They say, walking women home is a thing of the past
Women want to ride and ride around in class
Some like cadillacs, boys, some like fords
Some like anything as long as it rolls.
Crazy 'bout an automobile [that's right]
And here i am standing with nothing but rubber heels
Well, every woman i know she's crazy 'bout an automobile
Every woman i know is crazy 'bout an automobile
And here i am standing with nothing but rubber heels
One more thing i wanna tell you
Said, riding and loving just can't be beat,
You and your woman in your own front seat.
Now, she can play with your keys, shift the gears,
Turn on your radio just loud enough to hear.
Now, she can turn up the heat and flip on your fan,
And then you start rolling just as fast as you can.
Crazy 'bout an aut

There Was A Poem Even God Could Not Understand

THERE WAS A POEM EVEN GOD COULD NOT UNDERSTAND

There was a poem even God could not understand
It was written by the sufferings of the innocent
It had names of pain inscribed inside its every line
When it was read aloud
The screams sounded down the corridors
Of all the abandoned minds of this forsaken planet
It was such a poem
Such such a poem
Even God the One who knows everything
Even God
Could not understand it.

Poetry Does Not Make Money

Poetry does not make money-
Who writes it night and day ceaselessly
Will without any other source of income- starve-

My own bank is filled with poems
And no matter how many I put in or withdraw-

They do not buy a single loaf of bread-

It Is A Day Too Beautiful Not To Write A Poem About

IT IS A DAY TOO BEAUTIFUL NOT TO WRITE A POEM ABOUT

It is a day too beautiful not to write a poem about
Spring
Fresh air
Sun
Brightness everywhere
The happiness of simply being alive-

How I wish everyone I know and love could share it
A beautiful day
And because of its beauty
At least for this moment now
A happy one.

To Make Money

To make money please decide the question and answer;
Forming this requires patience, I dissolve like an ogre.
Towards a star that bled, I store the stones my mother owned
Which gracefully abide in my tongue, itself the one moaned.
Open a gate to deliver the stone too sacred
My gates are now closed to any expected.
I lose but own, and I make money so long,
That tears run down the cheeks of song.

Byron

The Chain I Gave: From The Turkish

The chain I gave was fair to view,
The lute I added sweet in sound;
The heart that offer'd both was true,
And ill deserved the fate it found.

These gifts were charm'd by secret spell,
Thy truth in absence to divine;
And they have done their duty well,
Alas! they could not teach the thine.

That chain was firm in every link,
But not to bear a stranger's touch;
That lute was sweet, till thou could'st think
In other hands its notes were such.

Let him who from thy neck unbound
The chain which shiver'd in his grasp,
Who saw that lute refuse to sound,
Restring the chords, renew the clasp.

When thou wert changed, they alter'd too;
The chain is broke, the music mute.
'Tis past, to them and thee adieu
False heart, frail chain, and silent lute.
