Womb
To imagine starting as a thread
And go through this life so spread
Moving on to a chewed like food
To think some can be so rude
We become a leech like clot
to grow through all we've fought
We grow a tail and our limbs
Taking it for granted in our gyms
We develop eyes so that we may see
Growing up, wondering who we will be
Gaining the ability to hear
Some turn away out of fear
Being pushed out into the light
Shining is the sun so bright
To think that our first act is to cry
We get to the point and all wonder why
Helpless we are in our innocence
And then given rights of precedence
Some given trials of calamity
Others on paths of amity
Shrouded by the path of randomosity
Some get stuck in their vanity
Innocence lost to the tides of time
Life seems like a mountain we climb
At the end of this long winding loom
We return to Earth, our mother's womb
