The Persistence of a Father
The relationship between a father and their daughter
Is one of trust and pride
Where Father will do anything to help her
To the perfect groom, be his bride.
She becomes a teen; it seems the love is gone
Father stays on track
Throughout it all, he keeps holding on,
He knows one day she'll come running back.
