Phantoms
It is the night, it is the night
When they come - those
Phantom thoughts that
plague my quiet,
They crowd around my bed
and mock me, these phantom
thoughts, they stop me sleeping
I cannot rest, I cannot rest.
I long for the morning when
the light will chase those
phantoms away, but all too soon
