I Promise, I Tried, but Its Not My Fault
I said I would be happy now
I said I would try to smile
but its my meds, I swear
theyre stopping me,
I cant be happy,
I cant smile
I dont need this medication
these pills,
these drugs
I don't need any of it
they just block my path
like a boulder in the way
they make me the person I don't want to be
just let me be free,
let me be happy.
I wont go there again,
ill behave this time
you don't need to worry
just free me from this cell,
I will be okay,
I will be happy.
