I'n School
In school:
I was told to sit down and shut up.
I should just shut up and
be quiet
In school I could learn
And I learned
and I faced the master
I learned about the play,
the theatre,
but this was no school of drama
So I lied
I lied about my friends,
the theatre, the girl
and I ran away
I ran away from the master
And I was the master
but I cried when I left
I was told to sit down and shut up
and I left that school because I didn't fight.
I just got up
and left,
quietly.
