Goodbye…Farewell!
I wanted to say ‘goodbye.'
But it was hard for me to
Shoot for the stars.
A heart so tempered
By the tides of times and reasons,
A wave so ever consuming…
‘Goodbye, ' if to buy the sway;
I wanted to say ‘farewell.'
But to fare,
My well is dug.
A mindset rudely ruined,
A forlorn hope aboard
A sinking ship of puberty…
Yet, ‘farewell, ' I must say!
Goodbye…farewell
Both in course to cause
Our routes
Goodbye… farewell
Another meeting
Rescheduled in time
And space
And I'm not afraid
To say, ‘goodbye…farewell!
