Glorious September
Come close to me and hearken
To the wedding bells that bind us
On this, our own September day
We leave the world behind us.
The kindness of the Preacherman
The gold upon my finger...
And those in love will understand
How heavenly kisses linger.
Hearts combine ~ yours and mine
We'll drink a toast together
And from now on, the sun will shine
In the glory of September.
