Forever Yours (my Love)
There were no witnesses
Of what the closed doors conceal
That once warm bed of passion
Does no longer appeal
For passion has now faded
Into deep romance
Shadows by candle light invaded
Not allowed to glance
You were my first and foremost
And you called me yours
In sighs and whispers
Behind those closed doors
Rippling waves of ecstasy
Going through the tides
Until the sun began to shine
And happiness no longer hides
You held me close in this first cuddle
Until at last we slept
Until the moment you had to leave
And in that time we wept
It was not heartbreak
Nor disdain
It was just the fact that this had to end
That caused that hint of pain
Forever yours
