Fate and Destiny
Fate and Destiny
Who can tell us what Fate and Destiny are?
Who can tell us what our Fate is?
Who can tell us what our Destiny is?
Fate. Destiny.
People say we cannot choose our Fate, but we can choose our Destiny.
People say we are Fated or Destined to do/become something.
Fate. Destiny.
Are they different?
Are they the same?
People say we can choose Destiny and we are Fated to do it.
People say that our Destiny is open, but our Fate is sealed.
Are Fate and Destiny the same?
If our Destiny has yet to be chosen but our Fate is sealed, then is not our Destiny already chosen, but unseen to us until the opportune moment?
Fate. Destiny.
When is the opportune moment?
At what point in our life will our Fate and Destiny be revealed?
Or will we realize what our Fate and Destiny are only when it is too late?
Or will we pass our Fate and Destiny without knowing it?
Fate. Destiny.
If someone tells us what our Fate and Destiny are, will we like what we hear?
Or will you strive against the path set before you?

Typical Situation
Ten fingers counting we have each nine planets
Around the sun repeat
Eight ball the last if you triumphant be seven oceans - pummel

As Destiny Unfolds
There is always a choice to make
When two paths merge and life takes a break
For a split second, all things are one
As destiny and chaos collide once more
When two paths merge and life takes a break
No one will warn you that it is already to late
To change the path you have taken
As destiny and chaos collide once more
For a split second, all things are one
In that moment, you realize God will not be outdone
This place and time will no longer exist
As destiny and chaos collide once more
No one will warn you it is already too late
The first man and woman sealed your fate
Nothing can stop what was meant to be
As destiny and chaos collide once more
To change the path you have taken
The original spirit must reawaken
To be forsaken was never part of the master plan
As destiny and chaos collide once more
In that moment, you realize God will not be outdone
By now you realize that life is not a dry run
No second chances are guaranteed
As destiny and chaos collide once more
This place and time will no longer exist
And mankind is summarily dismissed
For failing to exercise discipline and reproof
As destiny and chaos collide once more
The first man and woman sealed your fate
The choice is no longer yours to make
What you do now is fruit of the poisonous tree
As destiny and chaos collide once more
Nothing can stop what was meant to be
Two paths have merged into life’s potpourri
The world is filled with to much hate
As destiny and chaos collide once more
The original spirit must reawaken
Or those waiting for the rapture will not be taken
It will all be for not in the end
As destiny and chaos collide once more

Pinball Wizard
Local lad:
Ever since I was a young boy,
Ive played the silver ball.
Ever since I was a young boy,
>from soho down to brighton
Ive played the silver ball.
I must have played them all.
]from soho down to brighton
But I aint seen nothing like him
I must have played them all.
In any amusement hall...
But I aint seen nothing like him
That deaf dumb and blind kid
In any amusement hall...
Sure plays a mean pin ball !
That deaf dumb and blind kid
Sure plays a mean pin ball !
He stands like a statue,
Becomes part of the machine.
He stands like a statue,
Feeling all the bumpers
Becomes part of the machine.
Always playing clean.
Feeling all the bumpers
He plays by intuition,
Always playing clean.
The digit counters fall.
He plays by intuition,
That deaf dumb and blind kid
The digit counters fall.
Sure plays a mean pin ball !
That deaf dumb and blind kid
Sure plays a mean pin ball !
Hes a pin ball wizard
There has got to be a twist.
Hes a pin ball wizard
A pin ball wizard,
There has got to be a twist.
Sgot such a supple wrist.
A pin ball wizard,
Sgot such a supple wrist.
how do you think he does it? I dont know!
What makes him so good?
how do you think he does it? I dont know!
What makes him so good?
He aint got no distractions
Cant hear those buzzers and bells,
He aint got no distractions
Dont see lights a flashin
Cant hear those buzzers and bells,

Making Decisions
We make decisions.
Some of them quick.
Some of them split.
Some of them mixed,
With a wish to quit...
Making decisions we have to admit!
We make decisions.
Some of them quick.
Some of them split.
Some of them mixed,
With a wish to quit...
Making decisions we have to admit!
How often does a hindsight renew,
A clearer vision wished we had then used.
How often do we then excuse this...
As mistakes we've made,
Too late to shake away.
To turn around unphased,
Just to have things our way!
We make decisions.
Some of them quick.
Some of them split.
Some of them mixed,
With a wish to quit...
Making decisions we have to admit!
How often does a hindsight renew,
A clearer vision wished we had then used.
While making decisions wearing the same old shoes.

In the eyes of my beloved
As I tried to decipher my destiny in the eyes of the horrendously slithering crocodile; confronting him face on beside the marshy swamps,
All I saw was a life blended consisting of savage deeds compounded with profound animosity; and before I could ask him a volley of questions; he gobbled me like mincemeat with his knife like jaws.
As I tried to cognize my destiny in the eyes of a frivolous chimpanzee; patting him gently on his back,
All I saw was an aboriginal life of leaping voraciously on trees; inexorably masticating a meal of succulent banana; unable to go to school like humans do.
As I tried to perceive my destiny in the eyes of the hideous lizard; blowing my breath in gasps on its serrated skinned body,
All I saw was a bleak future devouring scores of slimy insects; spending the remainder of my life in realms of despondency and circumspection.
As I tried to envisage my destiny in the eyes of a pernicious vulture; sitting in close proximity with its monstrous sized eggs,
All I saw was a brutal life plucking decayed carrion from the flesh of lifeless bodies; scaring innocuous creatures in the sky with my dreaded persona.
As I tried to visualize my destiny in the eyes of a grizzly bear; riding on his furry back through the snow clad mountains,
All I saw was a shivering life in the freezing winds; a future in which there would be absolutely no sun in the cosmos to sight.
As I tried to conceive my destiny in the eyes of a potbellied tortoise; forcing him to extrude out his slender neck,
All I saw was a life full of indolence blended with languid ease; without budging a solitary inch for years on the trot.
As I tried to speculate my destiny in the eyes of a hunch backed camel; endeavoring to caress its slimy nose,
All I saw was a life full of confronting sweltering sandstorms; consuming scraggy cactus for morning breakfast as well as nocturnal supper.
As I tried to discern my destiny in the eyes of mammoth dinosaur; standing like an inconspicuous mosquito on the ground,
All I saw was a life replete with barbaric domination; and before I could even realize; he instantaneously pulverized me to saw dust under his diabolical feet.
As I tried to contemplate my destiny in the eyes of a scintillating dolphin; floating beside it in the swirling ocean,
All I saw was a life diving acrobatically in the waters; occasionally being eaten by the preposterously huge white shark.
As I tried to comprehend my destiny in the eyes of a cold blooded murderer; standing in the firing range of his gleaming revolver,
All I saw was a life assassinating innocuous individuals; coating my palms with their innocent blood.
And eventually as I tried to imagine my destiny in the eyes of my beloved; I felt submerged in waves of unprecedented euphoria,
And it was here that I saw my life the most beautiful; the most ravishing; the most exhilarating out of all of my previous lives; and I discovered a host of blissfully fulfilling purposes to live.

Decisions
Decisions, decisions
Options and choices
That signify our freedom
But make life more difficult
All the same
But what would life be without
Decisions?
Would it be a meangless
Tangle of days after days?
A predetermined boring
Routine?
They make make life hard
But they can make it
So much better
Choices will come and go
But the decisions
Stay the same

Tough Choices
There are choices to be made, this when and if, you are saved,
Saved by God from a life of sin, that your life be given to Him,
To The Lord, Jesus Christ, who saved you giving you New Life,
New Life, through a new birth, to be His testimony on this earth.
We’ve been bought with a price, and must be willing to sacrifice,
Some things in our life before, we came to salvation in the Lord.
In new choices that we make, some old friends we must forsake,
To live a life for Christ anew, departing form ways we’re used to.
When we come to God by faith, Christ gives to us ample Grace,
To make all choices that we need, when His Word we must heed,
Decisions over our sinful flesh; what for us, for The Lord is best,
For when we begin our life anew, Only Christ can see us through.
Harder times ahead shall come, and we must rely on God’s Son,
Heeding His Spirit dwelling within, making choices to honor Him,
Choices all may not understand, as for Christ we take our stand,
But, God gives grace and poise, as for Christ we make a choice.
So make that choice today, leaving the world for the narrow way,
Be in the world, but, be not of it, and lead by Christ, in His Spirit,
To live for Him, as His Light, not mixing in the darkness of night,
While living out this earthy life, being witnesses for Jesus Christ.

Choices
Choices
Are a form of grace
To have a choice
A voice,
is a privilege
Choices can
Change situations
The right choices
can uphold mankind
for thousands of generations
Choices
becomes personal declarations
A vow for one to live by
There shall always be
difficult choices to make
inorder to survive
Therefore,
Choose wisely today
For tomorrow
Shall surely come and
The choices of today could
Makes all future matters
well done!

Big Ten Inch Record
Got me the strangest woman
Believe it, this chicks no sinch
When I wanna get her goin
Then I whip out my big ten inch
Record of the band that plays the blues
Well the band that plays the blues
She just loved my big ten inch
Record of her favorite blues
Last night I tried to tease her
I gave my love a little pinch
But she said now stop that jivin
Now whip out your big ten-inch
Record of the band that plays the blues
Well the band that plays the blues
She just loved my big ten inch
Record of her favorite blues
Ill cover her with kisses
And when were in a lovers clinch
She gets all excited
When she puts on my big ten-inch
Record of the band that plays the blues
Well the band that plays the blues
She just loved my big ten inch
Record of her favorite blues
My gal dont go smokin
And liquor just makes her flinch
Seems she dont go for nothin
cept for my big ten-inch
Record of the band that plays the blues
Band that plays the blues
She just loved my big ten inch

Destiny
Gotta a twisted, hungry feeling
Its a hunger for you
Theres a midnight train that keeps on runnin
Keeps on runnin through
These empty hours I should be sleeping
Swimming in my dreams
But tonight my mind is dancin
Im tearing at the seams
What we had, what we lost
We gave to yesterday
A kiss and a smile, a little while
The heavens blew away
I believe in destiny
One more time for you and me
So let it out and let me in
We can fly, so lets begin
I believe in destiny
Tonight is ours eternally
So give it up and make it true
Set me free cos I want you
Gotta keep this moment moving
Its a deja vu
Your memory keeps rolling in
But light keeps spinning through
But though were both far away
Weve never been apart
Time and space, can it race
The love thats in my heart
I believe in destiny
One more time for you and me
So let it out and let me in
We can fly, so lets begin
I believe in destiny
Tonight is ours eternally
So give it up and make it true
Set me free cos I want you
I believe
I believe
I-i-i-i believe
I believe in destiny
One more time for you and me
So let it out and let me in
We can fly, so lets begin
I believe in destiny
Tonight is ours eternally
So give it up and make it true
Set me free cos I want you

So let it out and let me in

Destiny the Driving Force
Destiny is controlled by the mighty gods.
It swirls like a massive whirl pool.
No mortal being can escape it's hold.
Destiny controls our every action.
Destiny makes sure we take the right path in life.
Without a person taking a desired path the universe will go out of balance.
Balance of fate is essential.
The thread of destiny is so tangled that's why destiny is so uncontrollable by mortals.
Destiny goes around and around.
It never stops swirling.
Such an active force.
Mortal beings can't control what happens to them.
If it's negative or positive.
Destiny and fate are the same thing.
They intertwine when two people are in love.
Destiny carries people to their purposes in life.
It's a driving force.
Scientist can't figure it out.
It's the most complex thing second to the universe.

An Eternal Choice
We come into life with no choice, simply born as girls and boys.
We are born of a man and wife, through whom we enter into life,
They become Mom and Dad, teaching us what’s good and bad.
Making the early choices for us, as the people that we can trust,
To guide us in our early life, steering us from the pain and strife.
They make all the decisions too, of what we can and cannot do,
As they help us all to grow, learning the things we need to know.
Preparing children for a time, when choices are yours and mine.
They know there’s coming a day, when we’ll go a separate way,
When children leave their home, to make choices on their own.
As you live out your early days, you follow in your parent’s ways,
The choices early on in life, may not have included Jesus Christ.
When we leave that chosen path, we may invite a parent’s wrath,
In spite of your parent’s reproof, you must choose Words of Truth.
For when God’s Truth is ignored, we need to then seek The Lord.
Although from the very start, parents indeed have a critical part,
Many following their own heart, from their early ways will depart.
There is no bigger choice friend, than that of a man’s eternal end.
A choice that’s a personal one, when believing in God’s Only Son,
For the only way to eternal life, is choosing the gift of Jesus Christ.
The parents of girls and boys, can’t make a child’s eternal choice,
Even if they known the Only Way, it is a decision you must make.
No one can make for you or me, the one choice regarding eternity.
That choice in which you believe, must be made before you leave,
And only with this eternal choice, when you leave, will you rejoice.

Making choices
Life is about making choices
Success flows from right choices
Doing the right things
Doing them always right
Producing a giant of yourself
Becoming what you want to become
The choices are yours to make
The consequences are yours to take
So make the right choices
Choices that bring success
Success that builds self-esteem
And yield life, fully fulfilling.

Alan's Choices (Life Poem)
My life is full of choices I do not want to make,
If they came a little slower I wouldn't feel so bad,
But I sometimes feel I'm drowning, when they
Come from every angle, so I really cannot breathe.
My life is full of tricks that I use to help me cope,
My favourite is my iPod, of which I have a few,
I listen to my music loud, so nothing can intrude,
I just repeat a favourite bar, a hundred times
Or more, it's like a drug to me because, I need
It all the time, sometimes I forget and bring
It in my bath, which makes the man at Apple
A very happy man, because I need, a new one
Every time, the price I think is small because,
It protects me from all those choices, which
Would simply make me sad, and I can make
The ones I want to make, exactly when I wish.
My life is full of choices I do not want to make,
So I suppose the iPod washing is because, it
Really is my tap, to let some choices in, and stop
The drowning feeling, which too many choices bring.

Choices From Which To Choose
Choices from which to choose,
Does not end one's sense of need.
Or wishes to take a choice that's made,
To satisfy a dream...
Forever.
Choices from which to choose,
Does not end one's sense of need.
Or wishes to take a choice that's made,
To satisfy a dream to...
Never know a chasing of a wanting means.
Or to...
Dismiss a wish.
Choices from which to choose,
Does not end one's sense of need.
Or wishes to take a choice that's made,
To satisfy a dream.
And to...
Never know a chasing of a wanting means.
To admit to ever...
Having something wanted that is dreamed.
Choices from which to choose,
And...
Never know a chasing of a wanting means.
Choices from which to choose,
And...
Never know a wish that came from dreams.

Destiny Leads The Way
All through your great life journey you follow your destiny
And where you are living at today is where you are meant to be
And whether you live in your Hometown or from there live far away
It all goes back to destiny where you are at today
We make our own decisions and for our mistakes we pay
Yet in the course of our destiny we do not have a say
From the moment we are born our pathways through life are paved
And the destinies of our life's journeys in our souls are engraved
Though many will tell you differently they say our life's journey is our own choice
But destiny the silent one never does heed advice
And even those who do not believe in it follow it every day
Where-ever their journeys take them to destiny leads the way
And whether you travel far from home or live in your own country-side
Destiny of seven letters your life's journey decide.
