Children, children
children I am calling you
don't be scared don't be sad
all the fears won't hurt you
You've come so far
so you've got some scars
but you have grown into your own
don't look back just press your attack
all the dreams will come true
Once they said you would never walk
once they said you would never talk
once they said life would pass you by
but they didn't know how you would try
And you showed them all
you'd just get up when you'd fall
you tasted life and you gave it your all
You made me proud
I wanted to shout out loud
Look at my kids look at what they did
But you said no
you said let it go
‘cause time moves on and you move so slow
