Armchair

Curled

Here in this armchair

I can go to the edge of time

In my head

I travel through the heavens stars

In my heart I can reach out

To you

This is my silence with the taste of ‘never’

A single plunge from the tip of the tongue
Into the clouds anxiety sponges
Burdened with water and wells too mute
Of elements void of translation

A single flame from the tip of the fingers
That once touched the hard locked heart
Within the heights all skies to burn
In elements void of translation

A single stone cast into a cradle
Rocks an embryo crying for a womb
Like a childless lap still eager to fly
In elements void of translation

A single breath signed by an ocean wind
That namelessly carves the gates of open cages
Wrestling with the forbidden language
In elements void of translation

This is my silence with the taste of ‘never’
I give it solely unto you

Ovo je moja tišina sa ukusom 'nikad'

Jedno poniranje sa vrha jezika
U oblake sundere tjeskobe
Pod teretom vode i bunara suviše nijemih
Pod elementima lišenim prevoda

Jedan plamen sa vrhova prstiju
Što jednom je dotakao teško zakljucano srce
U visini da spali sva neba
U elementima lišenim prevoda

Jedan kamen bacen u kolijevku
Ljulja embrion što place za utrobom
Kao krilo bez djeteta što ipak žudi za letom
U elemntima lišenim prevoda

Jedan dah potpisanim okeanskim vjetrom
Što bezimeno urezuje kapije otvorenih kaveza
Rvajuci se sa zabranjenim jezikom
U elemntima lišenim prevoda

Ovo je moja tišina sa ukusom 'nikad'
Dajem je samo tebi

The Cry Of My Heart

The Cry Of My Heart

Your hands are not too short
To embrace me
Nor your ears too deaf to listen
To the cry of my heart

I am here for you
Longing to be with you
Listen to the longing of my heart
Listen to the cry of my heart

You lift me up when I was down
You made me strong, when I was weak
You made me whole, when I was broken
You listen to the cry of my heart

This, I promise you
From this day on,
I will serve you Lord
I will listen to the cry of my heart...

The Home of My Heart

Not here in the populous town,
In the playhouse or mart,
Not here in the ways gray and brown,
Bnt afar on the green-swelling down,
Is the home of my heart.

There the hillside slopes down to a dell
Whence a streamlet has start;
There are woods and sweet grass on the swell,
And the south winds and west know it well:
‘Tis the home of my heart.

There’s a cottage o’ershadowed by leaves
Growing fairer than art,
Where under the low sloping eaves -
No false hand the swallow bereaves:
‘Tis the home of my heart.

And there as you gaze down the lea,
Where the trees stand apart,
Over grassland and woodland may be
You will catch the faint gleam of the sea
From the home of my heart.

And there In the rapturous spring,
When the morning rays dart
O’er the plain, and the morning birds sing,
You may see the most beautiful thing
In the home of my heart;

For there at the casement above,
Where the rosebushes part,
Will blush the fair face of my love:
Ah, yes I It is this that will prove
‘Tis the home of my heart.

The Horse of your Heart

When you've ridden a four-year-old half of the day
And, foam to the fetlock, they lead him away,
With a sigh of contentment you watch him depart
While you tighten the girths on the horse of your heart.
There is something between you that both understand
As it thrills an old message from bit-bar to hand.
As he changes his feet in that plunge of desire
To the thud of his hoofs all your courage takes fire.
When an afternoon fox is away, when begins
The rush down the headland that edges the whins,
When you challenge the Field, making sure of a start,
Would you ask any horse but this horse of your heart?
There's the rasping big double a green one would shirk,
But the old fellow knows it as part of his work;
He has shortened his stride, he has measured the task,
He is up, on, and over as clean as you'd ask.
There's the water before you-no novice's test,
But a jump to try deeply the boldest and best;
Just a tug at the leather, a lift of the ear,
And the old horse is over it-twenty foot clear.
There is four foot of wall and a take-off in plough,
And you're glad you are riding no tenderfoot now
But a seasoned campaigner, a master of art,
The perfect performer-the horse of your heart.
For here's where the raw one will falter and baulk,
And here's where the tyro is pulled to a walk,
But the horse of your heart never dwells or demurs
And is over the top to a touch of the spurs.
To you who ride young ones half-schooled and half-broke,
What joy to find freedom a while from your yoke!
What bliss to be launched with the luck of the start
On the old one, the proved one, the horse of your heart !

I Write The Contradictions Of My Heart

I WRITE THE CONTRADICTIONS OF MY HEART

I write the contradictions of my heart
I give them to you freely-
But you have your own contradictions
And where are they in relation to mine?

We share what we are
But also do not-
I write for you
And you are silent for me-
And I thank you guiltily
for the blessing of your listening.

Open The Eyes Of My Heart

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You
To see You high and lifted up
Shinin' in the light of Your glory
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You
To see You high and lifted up
Shinin' in the light of Your glory
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy
(Repeat two more times)
Holy, holy, holy
We cry holy, holy, holy
You are holy, holy, holy
I want to see you
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
You are holy, holy, holy
I want to see you
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy,
I want to see you
(Repeat five more times)

Open The Eyes Of My Heart

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see you, I want to see you.
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see you, I want to see you.
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see you, I want to see you.
To see you high and lifted up,
Shining in the light of your glory.
Lord, Pour out your power and love,
As we sing holy, holy, holy.
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see you, I want to see you.
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see you, I want to see you.
To see you high and lifted up,
Shining in the light of your glory.
Lord, Pour out your power and love,
As we sing holy, holy, holy.
Holy, holy, holy
(You are)
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
I want to see you.
Holy, holy, holy
(You are)
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
I want to see you.
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see you, I want to see you.
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see you, I want to see you.
I want to see you.
I want to see you...

Looking Forward To The Last (Whatever Is It, I Can't Tell You)

in a state of haste and
disinterestedness
one looks forward to the last that one can
do,
it is an obligation after all,
art turning into work
less the feeling of awe
into that
choked creativity
the eyes ache
the arms are loosened
one feels the wholeness scattering
into bits
falling
and shattering sounds
of brokenness

i know these are all not clear to you
you doubt
precisely this is the real motive
the clearest and most
accurate intention

i just want you to think some more
about us.

This I Can Not Take

Utter disappointment does not even begin to describe
The emotions I feel now, as I am moved to scribe!
What must be done, so that justice reigns! ? !
Truth is the only 'side'-nowhere near what she feigns!

I have valiantly served, for rights now denied;
What about my Daughter-who, but me, is on her side! ?
The bias, driven by fear illogical, obviates;
The resultant lack of respect devastates!

When is the natural order to be restored?
When will my righteousness no longer be ignored?
Play no longer, this game of empty threats-
Take me in front of my peers, and see what that gets! !

If but my honor was all that was at stake,
I would bow, yet to abandon her-this I can not take!

This Life Can Be A Battle

This life can be a battle most live from day to day
And for billions of people 'tis uphill all of the way
Yet the longer that we do live the sooner we will die
And in life not everyone is equal unless you believe the lie
That everyone is born equal though with that I can't agree
That does seem patronizing talk or so 'twould seem to me
So many living in poverty and of hope in despair
Believe me 'tis a rat race in the bigger World out there
This life can be a battle for the billions in poverty
You cannot tell these people about equality
Since they would not listen to you in life they struggle on
And any hope of happiness from them seems to be gone
This life can be a battle life's uphill road is steep
And many homeless people without a bed on which to sleep.

(This Is) A Song For The Lonely

When your standing on the edge of no where,
And there's a litle love way up,
so your hearts gotta go there,
through the darkest night,
see the light shine bright,
when hero's fall,
in love or war,
they live forever,
(Chorus)
This is a song, for the lonely,
can you hear me tonight,
for the broken hearted,
battle scared,
i'll be by your side,
and this is a song, for the lonely,
when your dreams wont come true,
can you hear this prayer,
coz someones there,
for you...
Love don't need a reason,
she can pick you up and leave you bleeding,
ive seen a strong man cry,
i no the reason why,
we all forgive,
we all forget,
and just keep believing...
(repeat chorus)
dont give up,
so let it find you,
just hold on,
where ever you may go,
here me now,
im right beside you,
you dont have to look no more
you dont have to look no more
oh no
(repeat chorus)
its gonna be alright
its gonna be alright
its gonna be alright
coz this is a song, for the lonely,
can you hear me tonight,
and thats not you lonely,
this is a song, for the lonely,
through the darkest night,
your gonna see the light,
this is a song, for the lonely,
love just picks you up,
can you hear me tonight,
to leave you bleeding,
and this is a song, for the lonely
when your dreams wont come true,
can you hear this prayer,
coz someones there,
can you hear this prayer,
coz someones there,
(repeat chorus twice

Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most

Once I was a sentimental thing,
Threw my heart away each spring;
Now a spring romance hasnt got a chance
Promised my first dance to winter;
All Ive got to shows a splinter for my little fling!
Spring this year has got me feeling like a horse that never left the post;
I lie in my room staring up at the ceiling,
Spring can really hang you up the most!
Mornings kiss wakes tres and flowers,
And to them Id like to drink a toast;
I walk in the park just to kill lonely hours,
Spring can really hang you up the most.
All afternoon those birds twitter twit,
I know the tune, this is love, this is it!
Heard it before and I know the score,
And Ive decided that spring is a bore!
Love seemed sure around the new year,
Now its april, love is just a ghost;
Spring arrived on time, only what became of you, dear?
Spring can really hang you up the most!
Spring can really hang you up the most!
Spring is here, theres no mistaking
Robins building nests from coast to coast;
My heart tries to sing so they wont hear it breaking,
Spring can really hang you up the most!
College boys are writing sonnets,
In the tender passion theyre engrossed;
But Im on the shelf with last years easter bonnets,
Spring can really hang you up the most!
Love came my way, I hope it would last;
We had our day, now thats all in the past!
Spring came along a season of son,
Full of sweet promise but womething went wrong!
Doctors once prescribed a tonic,
Sulphur and moloasses was the dose;
Didnt help a bit, my condition must be chronic,
Spring can really hang you up the most!
All alone, the partys over,
Old man winter was a gracious host;
But when you keep praying for snow to hide the clover
Spring can really hang you up the most!

Emily Dickinson

This is my letter to the world,

This is my letter to the world,
That never wrote to me,--
The simple news that Nature told,
With tender majesty.

Her message is committed
To hands I cannot see;
For love of her, sweet countrymen,
Judge tenderly of me!

This Grey And White After-The Rain- Winter- Cold Day

This grey and white after-the-rain winter cold day
The beauty of the world
Is so so so great-

I forget its suffering
And the forecast of our ultimate nothingness-

Instead in the light I sit and write
My deepest feeling-

Thank You God
For having made it all-

I Can Only Tell You How Great The World Seemed (Rispetto)

I can just tell you how great the world seemed
and what at the time you had meant to me,
suddenly destiny at a time deemed
fit to unleash unknown pain and tragedy
from which you could not be saved, redeemed;
nothing could avoid coming calamity
claiming you to the cold and uncaring ground,
turning my whole world upside down and around.

I can just picture you sitting there

I can just picture you all sitting there.
My beloved family and the few friends that I had.
Your all wondering why?
Even though you know the answers why.

Sorry I didn't alert you.
Sorry I didn't speak of pain.
It was all to much anguish.
To much to take and to much to bear.

Try not to be angry.
Please forgive me.
This was what I had to do

Gen I Can't Give You Any Love Tonight, Baby

I can't give you any love tonight, Baby;
Hope you'll understand the reason why, Baby;
Working hard, adrenaline charged, Baby,
Bringing home the gravy just for us, Baby.

Hold me tight, hold me close, Baby,
Let me sleep within your arms, Baby;
Hope you'll understand the plight I'm really in, Baby,
When I can't give you any love tonight, Baby.

Next week, next month, this year sometime, surely, baby;
But I can't give you any love tonight, Baby.

I Can't Read You

I'm never shy but this is different
I can't explain the way I'm feeling tonight
I'm losing control of my heart
Tell me what can I do to make you happy
Nothing I ever say seems to come out right
I'm losing control of my heart

And I wish that I could be
Another better part of me
Can't hear what your thinking
Maybe if I just let go
you'd open up your heart

But I can't read you
I wish I knew what's going through your mind
Can't touch you

This is a Blossom of the Brain

945

This is a Blossom of the Brain—
A small—italic Seed
Lodged by Design or Happening
The Spirit fructified—

Shy as the Wind of his Chambers
Swift as a Freshet's Tongue
So of the Flower of the Soul
Its process is unknown.

When it is found, a few rejoice
The Wise convey it Home
Carefully cherishing the spot
If other Flower become.

When it is lost, that Day shall be
The Funeral of God,
Upon his Breast, a closing Soul
The Flower of our Lord.
