An Angel for My Friend
I want my friend to have an angel,
for he's an angel to me,
he isn't just a friend, oh, no,
he's more like family.
He's not always around. Most times
he's with the other teens,
but he takes the time to talk to me,
and I know what he means.
He says the world is hard and soft,
a good/bad place to grow,
and the more we learn about it,
the more there is to know.
He tells me that I'm handsome and strong,
he tells me when I'm wrong,
he tells me that I'm funny and smart,
he says that I've got heart,
he helpsme with my homework,
he's going to teach me how to swim.
Well, I want my friend to have an angel
just like him.
