Fish chip and mushy pea suppers
Newspaper vinegar drips
A shower of dark brown malt liquid
Helps salt crystals stick to your chips
The smell is a stunning reminder
Of many an outing since gone
When fish chip and mushy pea suppers
Were quickly devoured every one
