Face
If i were to read your face
I would struggle to find your mouth behind the words
Or see your eyes beyond a flow of tears still crying
In the silence I would see only lines and letters and words
and you barricaded in behind each sentence
Not knowing a safe house from a prison
Questioning the different meanings of a 'refuge'
And a 'bird in flight'
