cent blockage of penile arteries from cholesterol (animal fat) accounts for a quadrupled lack of function. Elimination of animal products in many cases returns sexual function. The Physicians' Desk Reference lists sexual dysfunction or impotence as a byproduct of many psychiatric drugs.

National Public Radio on Sept 9,98 hosted the author of a book on Prozac
who stated that 30 to 40% of users feel a loss of sensation sexually.
Viagra has been correlated to heart attacks. (Eli Lilly and Pfizer
make these 2 drugs.) Fox News reported June 10,98 that Viagra in combination
with nitrates such as sodium nitrate used to color hot dogs can be lethal.
Dr. Drew, MD, host of Loveline, stated one should research the many
antidepressants which cause impotence.
B. CURING BREAST CANCER

federal and state programs regarding breast cancer.)
The New England Journal of Medicine in November of 1997 stated that
animal fats which become trans-fatty acids are a cause of breast cancer.
The major cause of breast removal in the U.S.is animal products.
(The five countries with the highest rates of breast
cancer have the highest animal product consumption. They are
Scandinavian countries, the U.S. and one other. Women with mastectomies lose
none of their beauty, but they have
a difficult time adjusting. Elimination of the butyric acid in animal
products makes the body more fragrant.
(Other factors in sexual dysfunction are generalized anger, anger with
the partner, low self esteem, general exhaustion, female hormones in animal
products, etc.)
The dietary causes of breast cancer are both the animal products and the
female hormones given to the animals. The Dept. of Defense Health Section in
October did a symposium on the trans fatty acids found in animal products as
a cause of cancer.

Oxymoron

Oxymoron:

What Cancer Can't Do

Cancer is a real menace friend, which brings on an ominous end,
A time when suffering can be rife, with an early exit from this life,
This as life takes a major change, as many things stay the same,
Bringing much anguish to a family, in ways, they have yet to see.

Though cancer affects me and you, its menace has its limits too,
Limits on the devastating effect, upon those lives it has wrecked;
Regarding the victims, I speak of; cancer cannot cripple the love,
One's love, that remains intact, despite cancer's relentless attack.

Cancer cannot shatter our hope, as through it God helps us cope,
With The Lord's sustaining grace, cancer cannot corrode our faith;
Though its ailing effects increase, cancer can't destroy our peace,
A peace, that God instills in us, through the Spirit of Christ Jesus.

Though death may be cancer's will, friendships cancer cannot kill,
Also, it cannot suppress memories, of loving friends and families,
As the ill effects continue to rage, cancer cannot silence courage,
For we know that this entire life, is truly sustained by Jesus Christ.

By this courage we don't fear it, as cancer can't conquer our spirit,
Though in a body it will take its toll, cancer cannot invade our soul,
Or lessen God's Resurrection Power, even during the darkest hour,
As a member of the Body of Christ, cancer can't steal Eternal Life.

In the hour of our departure O Lord

We have been waiting
For almost nine months now

A Tribute to Terry Fox (in iambic dimeter)

While just a teen,
And Cancer struck,
They took a leg
To save his life!
He liked to run
And loved to win;
But Cancer came
To play a game!
Now Earth was hell!
Yet, Fox would run
A marathon
For Cancer’s sake!
His aim was high-
To raise a fund
For Cancer’s fight,
Despite his plight!
But half-way through,
His Cancer spread
To both his lungs,
Despite the drugs!
He covered miles,
Before Life’s end;
Undaunted till
The last, he stayed!
Posthumously,
He turned so great;
His one-legged walk
For Cancer’s sake
Earned him a name
Indelible!
He is ‘alive’!
His run goes on
All o’er the world
In Cancer’s name!
The world had lost
A lad so young
Courageous

Life and Cancer

Life and Cancer
Do you have an answer?
Strange how life passes you faster
With the presence of unwanted cancer

A mild tumour, a brain tumour, a breast tumour
None of that bestows on to life any best humour
With this forbidden disease called cancer
Tissues divide and grow like crazy dancers

Doctors abruptly said he had five months to live
Like a wild fire, cancer has spread barbarically actively
O! Life, why have you trapped him as a depressed captive
His psychological state of mind bears sadness pensively

He marvels with words flowing
Was it not better not knowing
Than knowing when one is going
Without knowing where one is going

Life and Cancer
Do you have an answer?
He spends each irretrievable day, one day at a time
O! Life, Cancer has done him an unbelievable crime

The pain is immoderately insane
Worse than lighting, thunder and rain
And his hope stands very often in vain
Waiting for a cure, composite or plain

The simple facts in life which are true
Is he pictures life with much more value
Someone, someone out there will survive
And the victory for cancer will be deprived

Our Arrival

our arrival is greeted by the wagging of a tail
and the jumping of a dog long denied
of company.

our arrival is the opening of the windows
the winds come
and once again kiss the furniture
and the room shows once more
the luster of an almost forgotten
fullness

our arrival shall keep the blankets
warm again
it shall unlock the bolts and shall
once more open a closed door

our arrival shall give us the sounds
of faucets
the flushing of an old water
inside the bowl long silenced by the
kind of absence that
sometimes want a revival of newer
perspectives

our arrival is a reconstruction of ourselves
for once again
we shall make the questions open
and then, if you only know, the meaning of things

that grow again, like seeds, these, all of these
shall make an arrival interesting....

It's Not Fun

Friend, having cancer is not fun, but, praise God the victory's won,
While my earthly life I may lose, but from God, I have Good News,
If I should die, I will live forever, so what my friend could be better,
Receiving my new body, glorified, I shall live as if I had never died.

With this cancer I occasionally pause, but, my life still has a cause,
This life is for The Lord to use, as a witness, of God's Good News,
Though I sometimes deal with pain, for me, there is an eternal gain,
That life cancer cannot take away, as God comforts me day to day.

As this cancer changes my world, God's Truth, I continue to herald,
For one day soon I will be changed, in a way God has prearranged,
When I die or that trumpet sounds, with Christ I will be in the clouds.
Right in the place prepared for me, with my Lord through all eternity.

Friend, it's knowing Jesus Christ, that helps me in this temporal life,
Knowing all pain will one day cease, and I'll enter into eternal peace,
Remembering Christ is omniscient, that His grace shall be sufficient,
As Christ knows my darkest days, He strengthens me, to His praise.

Cancer brings on pain and strife, and so my true hope is eternal life,
Anticipation of The Blessed Hope, is that source that helps to cope,
Since my earthly frame is but dust, in my Savior, I place all my trust,
For when I reach that Eternal Shore, I shall recall my cancer no more.

Pink (cancer)

send out this poem to all that you know
Stop the cancer before it grows.

PINK

She was dressed all in pink to show her support
Of how she was one of the cancer victims
And how she had fought.

The cancer now in remission and she
Was leading a normal life
But no one knew of her struggles and strife.

It's hard to imagine when you're given that kind of news
We can treat the cancer, but a breast you will lose.
You feel violated and raped by that word
This was something that other people heard. (not me)

Breast cancer has no preference to whether
your yellow, Black or white - male or female
We all have to fight.

You hear about it every day- and it affects
us all in a different way.
You may think that it's just muscle and tissue taken away
But ask a victim and see what they say.

A MAMMOGRAM AND ULTRA SOUND IS THE KEY
TO HELP YOU LIVE CANCER FREE.

Closer to Happiness

What do you get when you run away from
a predator? You get exactly what I'm
writing about: something chasing after
you. Not letting you go.

Walk around the house,
It's sunny outside.
It's nice,
Warm,
Pretty.
Then I hear the first of the
Trucks and I know
It's not going to end well.

No matter how far I get,
It always catches up to me.

I keep running.
Running away from all the hurt,
All the pain,
All the pessimism and all the suffering.
I keep running.
Running away from all the death,
All the heartbreak,
All the cancer and all the disease.
Trying to get farther from all that,
Closer to happiness.

He was a truck driver,
We saw him every once in a while.
It was nice,
Something we could rely on,
Then his cancer acted up again,
The chemo and radiation started,
And being a pessimist really sucked.
Being a realist sucks even more.

No matter how far I get,
It always catches up with me.

I keep running.
