Sweetly Drunk and Always In Love
When you dream
Of a lovely, long skirt
And a soft, white blouse;
When you’re mesmerized
By feminine eyes
That turn their gaze
Away from your face
Until you become
Child-like and sad;
When the slightest words,
Even of consternation,
From her bird-like voice
Is the greatest music
You’ve ever heard,
Then you realize
You’re sweetly drunk
And always in love.
