tonight i told her
that i shall be back in her arms
and she is laughing
for surely i cannot be in her arms again
she lost them.
trusting her i do not bother asking
i have no more arms either
though not literally in the strictest sense of the word
but figuratively
i lost them too, somewhere with someone
whom i really love.
