The Arena of Love
Like gladiators we enter the arena of love, .
Ridding ourselves of that singularity
Slice into the isolation of our inner selves,
Melting the barriers that separate, divide.
Entering into the inscrutable places we
Examine the unfolding petals of our love.
We melt the walls of our resistance,
To entwine and become one, battle done.
