Remedy for the Severed Soul
You may think that there’s no possible way
that you can survive another lonely day.
The tearing apart of a time formed bond
that is so cruel and undeniably wrong.
But please weep not tears of a severed soul,
for crying won’t make the severed whole.
Think of sorrow as a troubled nights sleep,
and tomorrows as rest days from the bleak.
Consider the nights as stepping stones
where one remembers not being alone,
and as the light pushes the dark away,
your pain will ease with each passing day.
