Friendship
Is friendship a shadow
Which follows you always,
Rejoices in your happiness,
Or, saves in unfair days?
Is friendship a dream
Which flows like a river
In your heart of hearts,
You hurt it but it never hurts?
Is friendship the sleeping lust,
Which nibbles the soul,
Lying dormant for years;
Gives birth to tears?
When lie gets prevalent,
Turpitude commits sin,
Friendship breaks as fragile piece,
Truth cries for justice;
