What is happening?
why does it feel like people starting to lie?
why can't you be up front,
even when you know it might be painful,
i perfer the truth over a lie any day,
don't lie to hide the truth,
cuz at the end of the day,
it will shine through,
don't be somebody i don't reconize,
be somebody i already know,
what is there to hide,
when i seen it all,
good and bad,
i seen it all,
unless it goes deeper than i already know,
quit hiding from me,
we suppose to be family,
why the secretcy all of a sudden,
nobody life is perfect,
we use to be close,
and now i feel apart,
you turn on me for looking in the past,
what is it that you don't like about it,
what do you wish you would of done,
that you now regret?
knowing you could of been happier,
rather than feeling like a prisoner,
being hold back from what you want to do,
because somebody can't accept the change,
you can always do better,
why settle for where you at?
if all they do is hold you down,
is that really what you need right now,
you capable to soo much more,
don't cut yourself short,
you have a lot more to give,
to somebody who would give it back,
not take, take, take.
