Distraction

My attention wanders
Leaving me unable to concentrate
To focus on any given task
Pages half littered in words
Fail to bring any poem forth
I look to the window
To music or any distraction
Escape is evasive
The mind frustrated
Love is calming
I'll write about love
But love is mysterious
I lack the necessary strength
To sit and write about it
My levels of attention
Fail to complete this
