Love for you
My heart is ripped
Right in half.
From the day I met you
I know I was in love.
I can never forget
The look in your eyes,
And they way
You made me laugh.
I could never
Love one like you,
But you let me
Love you anyhow.
We were never together,
As boyfriend or girlfriend.
We were simply friends
Of the best of nature.
I still love you
I want you to know
You ripped me in half
But it changes nothing
My love for you is
What you always have.
Even when Hannah goes away
You will still have my love to keep you warm
You can keep it
I don’t want it back
I love you
And you know it too.
