Children chuckle
As paper boats
Float in
Puddles.
Tap dance of
Rain
Makes
My hearts leap…
Birds
Screeching at
Midnight
In the city.
A small town
Girl
Lost in
Neon lights
Searches for
Night sky.
Trees
Dressed in
New leaves.
A woman
Dozes at noon
Beside
An empty
Water bottle.
Tree trunk
Despite storm
Srands firm.
Who knows
Heart is crying,
without sound.
