Boundaryless-ness
Boundary-less
she had the habit
of cheerfully violating
others space
her charm
insulating her from rebuke.
Her beauty was boundary-less too,
almond shaped green eyes
flaming red hair
a mouth afire-
pouty with the natural sex appeal
of a goddess
a mantle she wore easily
breath-taking to behold.
Few denied her
said no to her;
she most times
never having to ask
or experience want or need.
Instead she suffered from life's satisfactions
too easily won
and she
floated through life un-moored
with an un-anchored ease
but her ability to give receded
because never exercised.
But I sensed her predicament
taking her face into my two hands
holding it tight.
I took her body
into my arms
and held it tight.
I took her mouth onto my mouth
and heard it whisper:
'I fell in love with you
because I sensed you could contain
all my boundaries
free me from
this boundarylessness
and the pain of relentless freedom.'
