From Varying Segments of Our Society
Today,
Ladies and gentlemen...
We have invited representatives
To voice their concerns
From varying segments of our society.
We have a representative from the grassroots.
One from those who feel our educational system
Is in need of attention.
And someone who will voice the immigrant point of view.
Now...
Let's begin our forum with the grassroot outlook,
Shall we?
'Yes. And I thank you for this opportunity.
First and foremost...
Giving honor to that which is most precious.
We can not affectively proceed with a diminished horizon,
Beset by the limiting effects of sunlight that does not shine
Upon those who make strides to leave footprints in fading sand.
And yet we must keep a projection of depth that precludes,
A stopping of the mocking of a flock in desperate need of rejoicing.
Without a sparking to enlighten tomorrow's feeding...
No one will know the meaning of such proclivities that unite,
Comprehension! '

Thank you for making us all aware of what affects those
Who are of the 'grassroot' inclinations!

'Yes. I represent those who are concerned of our educational needs.
We need to lower the drinking age of those who matriculate,
On our college campuses! '
That is currently being address by the congressional committees!
Good point and an immediate priority!

But not least.
We have a representative who will explain immigrant concerns!

It is clear to us that our needs for higher wages, housing...
And the discrimination to have all illegal aliens,
To be licensed drivers...
Is an injustice not only to me, but
To all of us who feel we should live in this country tax free...
