Lost in a wild village
Taken out at night from her cottage
But only for the baby she carries she doth bother
In 1994,
On the streets of New York
Trembling in the cold
With no blankets to cover
Stumbling over rocks
Staggering as she walks
Isn't there no mercy
For the pregnant woman who died cold
In the New York street
