The Lions Den (Bible Poems for Children)
Once there lived a
man,
Daniel by name.
In a far away land,
He gained fame.
He found favor with
the king,
Helped him rule over
everything.
People were jealous,
of the way,
Daniel, always knelt
to pray.
Throw him in the
lions den,
He has committed an
awful sin.
God sent an angel
during the night,
Shut the lions
mouth uptight.
Daniel turned,
walked away.
The God of heaven,
spoke that day.
