Getting Over You
I say hello
You say goodbye
No matter what
You make me cry
You don't understand
There's a lot to love
I worship you like
You're God above
Of course, I know
There's more to you
Than material qualities
But what should I do?
You act like I'm repulsive
But it's only you I see
You smile with others
But frown with me
If you only understood
I'm more than this
You could learn to love me
It would take just one kiss
We'd fall in love
Live happily ever after
But it isn't to be
And I have no more laughter
I will wait no more
I must move on
And you'll realize you miss me
When I'm over you and gone
Good-bye, my love
I quit; you win
But hopefully, with this act
My suffering will end
